My father is currently having his case viewed by Moaddel Law Firm, and their communication is terrible. He calls and they always tell him the person who is going to present him in court is always busy or left for an emergency. His calls are never returned and time is not on our side considering that his court hearing is in a month. Not to mention that I did an investigation myself and had checked that Moaddel Law Firm is an independent and private law practice and is not apart of the State Bar or Bar Association. For those who don't know the State Bar of California is a government agency that is RESPONSIBLE for licensing and disciplining attorneys. In order to practice legally they MUST be licensed by and registered with the State Bar. His case seems to be going no where. Their pricing is terrible for doing services that don't seem to go nowhere, they even asked to take a copy of his credit card, for what reason? Why do they need to take a copy of it, nothing of it makes sense and they lack professionalism. Anyone looking for an attorney to defend you always do an investigation before you go with them. As the wife of Tatiana A.C., a client who trusted this law firm, I feel the need to warn others. From the very beginning, the service was poor. They charged her monthly as if they were actively working on her case, yet there were no updates, no follow-through, and attempts to communicate were either ignored or brushed off. But they were always on time to remind you to pay! Throughout the entire process, Tatiana felt completely abandoned. Her requests were not handled, calls went unanswered, and emails were left with no real response. Specifically, I want to mention Alexandra Porto. She promised a level of commitment that simply was not delivered. At one point, she even sent a supposedly "legal" document via email with someone else's name on it while assuring Tatiana that everything was correct. There were no results, just ongoing charges, lack of professionalism, and extremely poor communication. It's apparent from most reviews that they are bad faith actors seemingly taking advantage of vulnerable populations, and we can't stress enough to avoid this firm. Yelp shows dozens and dozens of 1-2 star reviews, while Google is filled with suspiciously glowing feedback, leading us to believe they may even be buying reviews to cover their tracks. Now, however, Tatiana is no longer alone. She has the full support and backing of a partner who feels so strongly about the gall and injustice of this situation that every legal avenue will be pursued. I acquired their services a few years ago and have had to resubmit my families immigration documents 3xs now for various reasons I think should have been done right the first time. Mind you it's been years of back and forth and paying for "new" fees that come up year after year. It seems we are getting the run-around and there is zero communication. Every time I call, front desk reroutes me to a general VM and I have to leave my info and never get a return phone call. How many of you have gotten rerouted for asking for an update? Seems we all have. I understand each case is different but the lack of updates and the constant asking for money for new fees when they should have been past certain phases is shocking. This was supposed to be an open and close case; simpler than most. They made it seem this time we were closer to the end, that all we needed was one last thing. Now we're being told everything has halted due to needing a different form of payment? Seriously? So let's freeze everything or possibly restart the whole damn case again because the form of payment THEY requested is not accepted? Then why did you ask for that form of payment?! Cabe resaltar que en esa video conferencia de la ultima corte la abogada de esta firma estaba vestida con ropa de casa super informal (parece que solo usan traje cuando te van a hacer el contrato para cobrarte en las oficinas donde te prometen todo lo que quieres escuchar). Si es usted un inmigrante honrado que llego a este país con ganas de solucionar su problema migratorio no le regale su dinero o el que le presten sus seres queridos a esta firma. I am very disappointed with the service provided by the Moaddel Law Firm, as the paralegal did not address all the important points raised by USCIS in the NOIR letter even though I sent all the documents to Daniela, the legal assistant , upon signing the contract. Now, the I-130 petition for my husband's case is in jeopardy . After numerous calls, I requested to see the NOIR response and also asked to speak with a supervisor, which never happened. After having difficulty reaching anyone, the paralegal, Leonardo, called me; it wasn't even a lawyer handling my husband's case.I asked to see the NOIR response, and it was sent to me late the day before. I read it, and the rebuttal to the NOIR response didn't meet my expectations because it didn't cover at all the important points raised by USCIS. it's was nightmare.So I emailed Leonardo and I resubmitted the documents to rebut USCIS's allegations. In the email, I asked Leonardo why he didn't rebut several important points of the NOIR. Leonardo the paralegal told me the document had already been submitted and that he had done his best. Of course, he hadn't done his best because he didn't rebut several of USCIS's allegations. I spoke with two other attorneys, and both said that addressing all the points is extremely important and that each point of the USCIS allegation must be rebutted. The legal assistant Daniela who was gathering all the documents also asked me to sign my signature on a white sheet of paper and take a photo with my cell phone to send it to her. I found that odd. **PLEASE BEWARE OF THIS FIRM** My mother hired this firm to represent her in her immigration case back in 2021. She would constantly call their office and ask to speak with the legal team. When asking for updates, she was received with unprofessional and rude comments. The staff would dismiss her or advise her to call back in 45 days for an update. When she would call for updates, they'd say that the process was taking longer than usual and that work was being done on the case. My mother called for an update after almost one year of retaining their services. She was told by a staff member from the legal team that no work was performed on her case and that they made an honest mistake for OVER ONE YEAR. The office manager contacted my mother to attempt to remedy the situation but there was no remedy for time lost and resources depleted. We have been attempting to collect a refund for the funds that they have been unethically withholding after not completing any work on her case. I've spoken with JJ, Carina, Sara Torres, and Alexa from the customer service department. No one has been helpful and they "promise" to call back once they're available. I've been chasing them down and playing phone tag with them since July 2024 to have the refund processed. Their refund and accounting process ranges from 30-45 days; you'd assume it were done sooner since no work was done on the case. We have yet to receive as resolution to this. They have sent my calls and messages to voicemail and make zero effort in contacting me. Please save yourself a headache and look elsewhere. if i could give this no stars, i would. do not go here. they take your money for granted and dont do the work. super unprofessional, never gives you any updates on your case and deflect their mistakes. no communication or does not respect your time. im sure theres many out there who had the same issue with them. they take advantage of you. dont come here. you're better off with a different lawyer. my girlfriend came to them and paid them 10k as agreed. they said they were going to finish the job and take care of the issue. its been a year with no actually updates, nothings done, we're still missing documents, and there hasn't been any progress. we're still at square one. they don't even pick up the phone when we call and wait until the last minute to do everything. read more

Would not recommend this "Law" Office. Over charge for what little to nothing there lawyers actually do.

I was literally spammed until, I finally went in for a free consultation. They made me feel as if they were really here to help my husband and I . I upfront paid $1500.00. They took my husbands fingerprints and I was sent an envelope with a questionnaire. I found myself stuck, so I tried making an appointment to come in for help since I thought that's what I thought we paid for. I got texts back stating they could help me over text or phone call. I explained that I was confused now of what I had gotten charged so much for and still needed to make a money order for INS to file my paperwork. It was for help filling out and filling this petition. After I complained I received a call from now a different person, unfortunately when I did get the call back, I was at the hospital for an appointment with my Dr. She told " me no problem give me a call back when available. If I don't answer I will give you a call right back." Still waiting and now as of April 1st the filing fee is going up! It is not my fault my paperwork is just sitting there.
