We have been taking our vehicles to Moats for years. They have ALWAYS been reliable and fair in their pricing.

I'm leaving this review to document my experience with Eric McMichaels Diesel Tuning so others can…read moremake an informed decision. I purchased tuning for two separate trucks. The first set of tunes worked as expected, and to his credit, revisions were handled and that truck is running fine. However, the second set of tunes (for my Excursion) has been a completely different experience. The files will download, but they will not properly load into the truck. The process fails during flashing, throws an error code, and requires a full reflash to recover. This is not an isolated issue--I've communicated this directly and clearly. Despite being aware of the problem, there has been no resolution. I have not received corrected tunes, and I have not been able to get a response regarding the issue. Calls and messages have gone unanswered, so the situation remains unresolved. At this point, I've paid for a product that I cannot use. If you're considering doing business here, just be aware: initial support may be there, but if something goes wrong, communication and follow-through may be an issue. I would update this review if the issue is made right, but as it stands, this has been a frustrating and unresolved experience.

Upon pick up the truck was smoking which the owner Eric said was normal and to drive it for hundreds of miles wile adding gallons of fuel stabilizer to it.They deleted the emissions off of the truck without me asking for this to be done. It didn't take long for me to google the issues and have a problem diagnosed. Eric ensured me it was just an injector issue. Eric later suggested I take it to Marty's Diesel for an correct evaluation as he could not properly diagnose the issue himself at his own garage. He told me he would pay for any services and did not. Bottom line the truck has had the turbos damaged from poor workmanship preformed at this shop. They get you in the door and give you back your vehicle in worse condition than you dropped off. DO NOT TAKE YOUR PRIZED POSSESSION HERE. OUTSIDE APPEARANCE OF THIS PLACE ALONE SAYS ENOUGH. I DEFINITELY LEARNED MY LESSON. Can't wait to share this as much as possible. People like this should not be able to operate a business. The final quote was "I have plenty of money to not get paid for a job".

When we took it to another repair shop, they knew of these people and did not want to hear our story because they were friends. But the repair shop we took it to did say, there is no way this rusted out within 10 months. This damage was already done when she bought the truck. I will never trust this company again or their repair shop in Willow Street where I had my own problems. Warning. Do not use this service

Was told by the new service people that I needed brakes and rotors. Since the the old Stoner-Wade…read morestaff told me 6 months earlier I'd likely need brakes at inspection I wasn't surprised by the brakes, but rotors? After the huge the increase in service rates I just couldn't trust them and took the vehicle to another shop but didn't mention Susquehannas recommendations. Not only were the rotors fine, but the brakes were fine too. ( I don't on drive much.) So Susquehanna Ford is now your typical scumbag crappy car dealer, overcharging add recommending unneeded service. Avoid at all costs. Original review below: New owners - Price for service now 50% higher! For those who didn't know Stoner Wade was purchased by Susquehanna Dodge. I have been buying from and getting service from Stoner Wade for over 15 years, but Susquehanna Dodge ruined it before I could even give them a chance. I had heard Stoner changed owners so I expected higher service prices on my next visit. (The new owners will need money to pay back the buying the dealership, right?) But heavens above they're trying to make it all back in few weeks. Service rates, that's the hourly charge charge for service work, jumped from $90 per hour to $130! That almost a 50% increase. Then I found the main salespeople I've dealt with for years have left or are leaving. Both of the service people I spoke to were also leaving. How evil must the new owner be to drive out so many employees so soon? I used to rave about the quality of work, the caring nature of the staff and how reasonable pricing was (not cheap, reasonable.) Sadly the new owners have already decided to drive off the one thing that pays the bills, customers. Must be an accountant in charge now. A sad and terrible loss for all their customers and for Quarryville/Lancaster.

The service manager came out and told me I needed rear brake pads for it to pass. I teach engine technology at a technical college high school and was a ASE master technician in the past, which gives me a little bit of car knowledge. Anyway, I told him to go ahead and replace the pads, thinking the cost would be, worst case 3-4 hundred. He came right back out and told me it would be $661.00. Told him not to do it, I would and bring the truck back. I know dealerships make their money in the shop and I expect them to make a fair profit on every repair, but I'm sorry, that price was just not right or fair. No way you can ever convince me it is. I drove straight to CarQuest. and bought the rear pads for $28.00 went to the school and replaced them in less than forty minutes, after which I went straight back to the dealer. I was then hit with a re-inspection fee of $47.00 to have them just look at the rear brakes which would take but a few minutes. I could see that fee if I came back at a later date, but the same day and already a loyal customer. Well, I hope the $47.00 dollars was worth losing a loyal customer. Loyal customer meaning a customer you can TRUST who keeps coming back and spending their hard earned money at your business. What about being able to TRUST the dealership??? That TRUST was broken today.
