Today was the day!…read more On our way to Great Escape from Amsterdam, we knew we needed something hardy to fill our bellies in order to get through the morning in the amusement park. Now is the time for Spicy Chicken Wafflewich. There were only three in the hotbox when we arrived at the 67 Stewart's Shop. We took all three. They were extremely warm. When we got in the car with our treasures, we opened the packaging to find each was a healthy portion of chicken in between two waffles. The mapley smell of the waffles hit us first, so we anticipated the sandwich would be really sweet. The reality was that the spicy chicken and the sweet waffles yielded an amazing balance of flavors. While the sandwich certainly could've been crispier, you have to take into account that it is pre-made. It was a delightful treat. Overall, we highly recommend the Spicy Chicken Wafflewich. It thoroughly satiated our morning appetite to prepare us for the big day of fun ahead.
