Made the 35 minute trek to try their ice cream bubble waffle cones…read more   We ordered the taco bubble waffle with mint chip ice cream, Oreos, peppermint patties and chocolate sauce as well as the Bull Dogs bubble waffle cone, which had twist, peanut butter cups, M&M's, peanut butter chips, and chocolate and peanut butter sauces.   They were both drool worthy! The waffles tasted fresh and were soft and pillowy. If you're a fan of lots of toppings on your ice cream, this place will be your new favorite. The menu is full of creative options and if you're in the mood to create your own, the topping options are endless.   However, if you're like me and you consider yourself a hard ice cream connoisseur, you may be disappointed. For ice cream options there's chocolate, vanilla and twist soft serve as well as a handful of hard ice cream flavors: chocolate, vanilla, strawberry, coffee, mint chip and chocolate chip cookie dough.   The good news is that they had more hard ice cream flavors at the counter than they did on their website, so that leads me to believe they may be slowing adding new flavors.   And even though Berne is a drive for most of us, it's a nice ride especially in the summer and most likely the fall too.

My only complaint is if you just want a simple cone of ice cream you still pay the full price. May not be worth it for the little ones. Or if you can it wasn't clear.

I loved that they actually stuff the cone instead of leaving the bottom hollow -- such a small detail but it makes a big difference! They're also super generous with samples, so you can try as many flavors as you need before deciding. The staff was incredibly friendly and welcoming, and the shop itself has such a quaint country charm. There were tons of unique flavors too -- including fun Girl Scout cookie-inspired options and an amazing blueberry flavor that became my favorite. What really stood out to me was how attentive the service was. I ordered a combination cone and the server noticed a tiny bit of mint chip had mixed into the other flavor. She carefully scooped it out before serving it because she knew it would affect the flavor profile. Such a thoughtful touch and proof that they really care about the experience they give customers. Parking is easy and there is outdoor and indoor seating. Definitely worth a visit if you love homemade ice cream and kind people!

It is still as cute inside as it used to be. The staff was just as welcoming. We ordered eggplant fries and Sandwiches. The sandwiches were both very good but the true winner was the Eggplant Fries. They were thick, with a soft interior and super crunchy exterior. The dipping sauce was excellent. I would recommend these to anyone and can not wait to go back for more.

Fish Fry-- It was thin and long; it overflowed the bun. It was fried to a crispy, golden level. Ok so far. However, it tasted like a big, cheap fish stick. Also, it tasted pre frozen. The coating pulled away from the thin piece of fish since it was not freshly breaded. Did not finish it. The fish fry was not tasty or enjoyable when compared to Ted's or many other places. Surprise: The cocktail sauce was very good. Tangy. The large portion of Cole Slaw also disappointed. It was fresh but had zero flavor! Was it moistened with a diluted mayo and nothing else? My guess is Yes. I did not finish it. My friend ordered the fries which were good and what you typically get. Her burger was mediocre. Service was a five. I was even offered a cup of ice water without asking. Dairy Circus sells ice cream which probably is good and a big seller. Since it is located directly across from Scotia Glenville HS, it must get business from teens.

I finally made it to Jumpin' Jacks the other day. It's a mid-century outdoor diner, which is a local institution. I felt as though I traveled back in time to the 1950s or stepped into a scene from that old tv show, "Happy Days." The place looks awesome. I ordered a Jack Burger which consists of double hamburger patties covered in cheese and coleslaw on a bun. While the patties look flat they are tasty and very filling. I also had some fries, which were very good. I was stuffed. The 2 Jack Burgers--one for a friend-- fries and two fountain drinks ran me $26. Not bad. I was there for an early dinner at about 4:30pm. I've been warned that the lines can get very long. My friends suggested in order to avoid crowds I'm best off showing up at off hours. It was a fun experience. I finally get it. This a bit of Americana and those burgers taste good, too.

If you're lactose intolerant, they have dairy-free ice cream available. Not sure about any other allergens they cater to. It's a casual place. They take cash, cards, and Apple Pay.
