The sauce is a little sweet, I recommend the sliced brisket over the chopped brisket any day. I would recommend to just skip The three meat sandwich, all you could taste is a sausage- and this may be a hot take... But I don't love the sausage. As for the chicken tenders, wait until it's hot fresh and just put out and it's a life-changing experience. The Buc-ee's sauce is the only way to go. You can get barbecue sauce or honey mustard at any other place. The fries are definitely better than the homemade chips. I did not like those chips, I don't know if I just didn't have them hot and fresh, but I would say skip them. We got some banana pudding to go. Also, would not recommend. It's vanilla pudding with some bananas and wafers. I like my banana pudding to be banana pudding not vanilla pudding with bananas, etc.. We grabbed some essential road trip, snacks, including Buc-ee's nuggets, two different kinds of beef, jerky, peanuts, pickle, flavored potato sticks, and some of their signature mince, both the cotton candy and the traditional. We also got some of their signature cola. The diet cola was mid, the regular was better. and in addition to the snacks and food, we also picked up a hat and a T-shirt for both of us. The staff were amazing. This place is like Grand Central Station, it gets very crowded very fast. Speaking of fast, the cashiers and folks working at the meat carving station were legendarily fast.. The whole experience is great ftom the moment you park in the clean parking lot until the moment you checkout! and if you need to use their bathrooms those are also pristine with a great light system that tells you exactly which stall is open. Most Shell stations take off 10 cents per gallon when using a Kroger card. This station both years took $1 per gallon off. We have made notes to be sure this is the station we go to on repeat trips.

This year I had written down to take exit 417 to get gas at Shell. Before filling up my husband and I joked together that we probably wouldn't even get the ten cents off due to the error last year. Wrong!!! We once again got $1. off per gallon. So for a total of $1.49 per gallon my husband topped off our tank. We made a stop here on our return trip home. This will be a regular stop on our trips to and from NC from KY!

They said they had to run the card again. my husband said you are not going to charge my twice' and thats. what they did. when i went back to get my money they said it was not there fault. i asked who's fault is it. of course it's there fault they should have cancelled the first transaction. but they did not. now it's our problem I have to contacted Exxon and fight with them. That gas station sucks. My husband asked them several times. about being charged twice. they assured him he would not. now it's our problem. this is bullshit they should get mu money back for me. I will never use that station again. And will tell everyone i know.

Approached the blonde haired female clerk, who was on her personal cell phone and was told I would have to "hold on" in order to get my receipt. We attempted to get coffee, but both regular and decaf were completely out. We could overhear the clerk arguing with someone about her welfare benefits. She then got mad when we tried to check out. When I explained that they were completely out of coffee and the pumps were out of receipt paper...she informed me I was being rude ( I guess being a customer rated below her welfare benefits argument). I informed her that customers should have priority over her personal phone call, we were informed " I have the right to refuse your service " my response was never mind we will go elsewhere. She was still arguing with the folks on the phone. If I could have " un-pumped" my gas I would have. We left and went to,a wonderfully nice Shell Station near I-40.
