Location is great if you are driving from mid city easily accessible even during traffic. I pulled in on a Thursday afternoon an empty gas tank and low tire pressure. Upon arrival immediately I parked to start the gas pumping portion of what I hoped would be an in and out process. I kindly walked over to the gentleman that was not busy, not a single soul in the whole bay, not one car, you would think he would have been excited to have a customer. When I approached him I asked how much is it to check all 4 tires one is marking low. His response was I don't check tire pressure pump your own air. I was going to pay for the service did not expect him to do anything for free, he didn't have to be rude obviously if I was asking for the help is because I didn't know how to do it myself because if I did I would have. The service worker is very rude. The stations were all full so I decided to add air to my tires first, but the worker said, did you read the sign outside and I said yes it says free air with purchase and I said I would like to buy gas, but I'm waiting for a station to open up. Can I add air first? He said no you need to buy gas and give me the receipt anyway they're very inflexible considering it's so simple. However, I went politely and asked him, he raised his voice telling me to use another one, I went again and noticed the same thing. He came outside yelling at me saying that I'm messing around and I don't know how to pump a gas. I said well you said used another one and that's what I did. We were in the area and in need of gas. The gas station is clean enough and the employee was friendly. You can find the usual drinks, snacks, magazines, etc. inside. The giant signs facing the street advertised Regular at $4.99, but I was charged $5.19. The worker claimed there was a posting explaining there was a surcharge for using credit cards. I never found it. Most stations conspicuously post when they charge more for credit cards. If the non-surcharged price is visible from the street, then the surcharged price should be visible from the street. This is unfair to the customer. read more

The guy didn't even have the manners to verbally respond to her, shook his head, and put a sign in the window saying no restrooms from 11PM to 6AM. Omg save yourself the trouble!!! FYI if you keep going westbound on Centinela for about 1.5 miles you will run into a reputable Chevron. LEAVE THIS PLACE NOW!!! Today I swung by here completely on E. I go inside to get a beverage and prepay for my gas. Sounds pretty normal, right? I go out to the pump, insert the pump, and get in my car. I heard the nozzle stop shortly after letting my butt hit the car seat. It had gone $0.44 and stopped. Mind you, I prepaid inside. I go inside, irritated as hell. The guy goes, oh, the pump ran out of gas. How the hell does a pump run out of gas?! He then tells me he can't refund my money or switch me to another pump, and that I'll have to wait until the final transaction amount goes through to get my money back; he said I could continue talking about it but nothing was gonna change. Basically, he told me to go fly a kite. So, since they CLEARY cannot be trusted, instead of paying AGAIN at another pump I drove down to the referenced Chevron and paid ONCE AGAIN for gas. I called to ask if they had a certain item the guy repeated the item and sounded annoyed then hung up on me. I called a second time and asked him how much the item cost. He said 'I don't know' and hung up on me again. You do not deserve a job especially in customer service. You're a horrible employee. I hope the owner reads this and fires this person. Every time I pass this station I notice the gas is higher then others in the area, so I never stop. On this occasion I was running very low on gas an felt I had no choice. I asked to enter my number for the rewards program they have advised ( on every pump). The old cashier guy looked quite confused. After the 3rd attempt of explaining how his rewards program worked he called up the next person in line. RUDE! He was not competent enough to allow me to get credit for my purchase. I gave him $20 and told him the pump #. He remained unable. I asked for my $20 back and pointed out the signs posted through-out the store before leaving. The customer behind me stated that he was rude to her as well; and may have a deeper issue. I will never return as long as the incompetency exists. Typical gas station. I stopped by to grab a couple of sodas before we headed out and when I handed the clerk my credit card he asked for my ID. Really, for $3.34? Ok, so I gave him my card and ID. the cashier then proceeds to look over my ID and holds it up against the light and takes about four minutes looking at my ID and credit card all for $3.34 on two F'n sodas! In November I took my car in to have a simple diagnostic done. Fast forward to March. I go to AAA to pay for my car's registration and told I need my smog check, even though I just had the smog done two years prior. They told me that back in November this "mechanic" performed and submitted to the state a smog check for transfer of ownrrship. I never once implied my car was for sale, nor did the "mechanic" and I ever discuss performing a smog check, I never authorized such a thing, especially since I wasn't selling my car. Whenever I tried to contact the station to complain, nobody ever answered the phone. I also saw him stick a screw into a loose battery connection instead of fixing it properly. His sense of humor was off, since he looked me in the eye and said "all mechanics lie" while smiling. I would not feel safe returning here again. This "mechanic" is an idiot and incompetent. If your car breaks down and you need help in that area...tow, push, pull your car as far away from Young's Mobil and that incompetent mechanic Tyler Park. Spending your money anywhere else surely guarantees better service and better quality. Best to be safe in your own vehicle than trust this location or "mechanic". read more
