The manger could have been nicer when talking with me about it, I was friendly and pleasant walking into the store. In addition to that, the CVS app won't let you order a prescription in advance, to be filled the day it is due. So, for instance, if you take a drug that requires physician approval for each refill and the due date is on a Saturday, you have to wait until Monday to submit the refill. Then, depending on how busy your doctor's office is, the scrip might not get refilled until Tuesday. So, if it's a drug you need to take every day and only have enough to get from one refill date to the next, you have to go for several days without the medication. How stupid. So, I went back to Walgreens (I only switched to CVS because our Walgreens in Old Lyme closed), even though the one in Essex is farther away. Friendly staff and I can order in advance using their website or app.
