While losing the cash was very upsetting, the contents and the thought of replacing all was even more disturbing. The manager let us see the cameras to try and see if it had been dropped in the store, no luck there. Outcome, it had been turned in and locked up. All was there including the cash which we had given up hope of recovering. We offered a reward and was told no, that's what they do. We want to thank the manager William who went so far beyond normal customer service to help us. We also want to thank the staff, who not only turned it in but was so supportive and seemed genuinely happy for us when we returned to pick up the wallet. The store gave me a discount of $2.00 on a $417.00 purchase. I did not get 10% off on a case buy. We questioned the cashier and his response is that it would bring it below state min. Did he really analyze each wine I bought to determine this? I go to other stores and the retail is $1.00 less and I get 10% off. Not that I go there often but now I never will. We had brought our dog on vacation with us, and it was 80 degrees out with an extreme heat warning when we stopped here., Since we were just ordering take out, and the store appeared to not have indoor dining, we brought her in with us. As we were looking at the menu, The manager on duty told us the dog couldn't be in the store. I replied "well it's too hot to leave her in the car." She got defensive and replied snarkishly "we have a nice seating area outside". Our friend kindly took our dog outside while we continued to look at the menu, unfortunately my appetite was ruined by the rudeness of the manager on duty, I was made to feel very uncomfortable. After ordering I went outside to stay with our dog and sent my friend in to order for her self. When my fiancé came out, he let me know they even had free dog treats inside the shop. What was the harm in letting us keep the dog in there while we order? Was it worth the yelp review and making a paying customer uncomfortable??? I do not recommend stopping here if you are traveling with you pet and looking for a quick bite to grab.
