We picked up some sort of debris on the 580 freeway only a few miles from home in Tracy. By the time we pulled into the driveway our Jeep rear tire was hissing its way flat real quick. It was almost 7pm on a Saturday and going into the 4th of July holiday week. I jumped on Yelp and found Sim, called and after a few text exchanges to verify if the spot of the puncture allowed the tire to be serviceable, Sim was out front of our house and servicing the flat. I couldn't believe it, this was after 8pm and he had the flat fixed in about 30 minutes and for an incredible price. So I discovered the latch to my fuel door had broken - at the gas pump - after hours - with the gas light on. Couldn't open the door to save my life. Google, YouTube and AAA all couldn't get it working either. I had a super busy day the next day and was STRESSED about how I'd get my kids to school, get my car fixed and get to work. I called Mobile Master Mechanic the next morning and Sim responded right away. I was able to transition my first meeting of the day to a zoom call which of course I was in the middle of when Sim arrived - in the rain (of course). Sim was super kind. He took my keys freeing me up to finish my call and had the door open in a matter of minutes. He charged me a fair rate, and gave me a work around as well as the repair cost for a permanent fix. AMAZING!!! Simply amazing Home and work are an hour apart and my temp gauge went up drastically 3/4 of the commute to work. I pulled over and noticed a coolant leak. I added water and barely made it to work. I was in a huge dilemma and called shops to see if they can get my car back on the road so I can make it home. They all wanted an arm and a leg and I had to get the car towed there. Plus I'd have to miss time off of work. A buddy of mine referred sim and said he was mobile and can come to me. My former mechanic had me quoted at $600 for new rotors and brake pads and told me my compressor was dead and needed replaced for $1500. I got a second opinion from Sim. He took off the tires and informed me I had 60% pads left in the back and 80% in the front and the rotors were still good. So my former mechanic was lying about the brakes. Sim looked at the AC system and informed me the vehicle was low on refrigerant. He flushed the system, checked for leaks, No leaks so he added new refrigerant. The compressor fired back up.
