Waiting twice as long as promised with zero transparency is completely unacceptable. If your time matters, I'd recommend looking elsewhere. I won't be returning.

The technician quickly got the tire off and got the used tire on. Next, he did a dynamic balancing. Because I had a front end wobble, he suggested he checked the other front tire as well. I think he was gonna do it for free, but I offered to pay $10. Upon taking the tire off, he quickly spotted a nail in it. He removed it and tested the tire to make sure it wasn't leaking. Since the tire was still good, he did a dynamic balance on it and mounted the tire. I felt the service was really good and better than most tire shops I've gone to. About the only thing I didn't like, was that they required cash. They have an ATM machine in their office area. So I had to get cash out to pay them. Their ATM machine cost $3.00 to use. So I wish I was told on the phone to bring cash. But other than that, I was very happy with the service. If I need another tire, I know where I'll go!

Toyota failed to give confidence in their competence so I called my buddy and he recommended I take it Les Schwab. I was going to go to Livermore Toyota. I went to Les Schwab and they offered me everything that I was prepared to pay for at Toyota as a complimentary service. They were willing to do so much for free that I refused to take free as a price point. I asked for an oil change- to which they still added a ton of free services. I'm not one for free, I believe free is never good quality. But when I went back to speak with the tech, they explained to me that I made a solid purchase and that the noise I'm hearing is a worn exhaust hanger- causing the exhaust to rattle against an aftermarket tow hitch. Thank you to Nate, the tall bald ginger Tech- badass dude. Mike the Tall honcho dude- he sent Anthony with me on a test drive who ultimately discovered that the issue wasn't in my suspension and potentially saved me hundreds if not thousands of dollars before I went apeshit tearing stuff apart to figure the noise out. I would recommend Les Schwab. Especially this Tracy location. An awesome group of individuals that make an amazing team, Fuckin thank you guys. Oh and the middle aged lady who helped me as well, I failed to get her name but she was an awesome professional, and she was super nice to my dog too. You guys made a repeat customer out of me.

Today I came in because my car was leaking oil. I had made an appointment at the local dealership but then realized that I should drop by Les Schwab first. After explaining that my car was leaking oil but before I could even ask, Mike asked me "So do you want us to check it out for you?" After replying yes that would be great, Mike informed me that it would be zero charge. They quickly had my car up and checking it out. Mike updated me that it was a bad oil plug, that they had already ordered it, told me it would be there soon and they would have it fixed shortly. AWESOME!! It makes me wonder if the dealership would have been as honest and quick. I know definitely not as inexpensive! Thanks, Mike and to the whole crew at the Tracy Les Schwab for always providing excellent service!

I came out to this shop because the tire shop across the street had told me they do not have any used tires in my tire size and recommended to try the shop across the street (Mr. Ed's Tire). I let the guy know which size I was looking for and after a a few minutes one of the other workers came out with a couple of tires. They were not the same brand and I asked if it was possible to see if they had matching brand tires in the back and the guy went and checked. Luckily they did and they proceeded to get the tires swapped out. Unfortunately one of the tire had an issue and the guy brought out a tire that was the same brand but a different model of tire. I contemplated just putting the old tires back on and leaving and asked if I was able to just replace one tire and put one of the old ones back on so we went to check and see which ones were the better of the two. He said none of them are good and I was just getting disappointed as the time I spent waiting was just going to be for nothing.Luckily, again, one of the guys came from the back with the same brand, same model tire to replace the bad one. I was relieved and thankful that they were able to replace my two front tires with used decent tread tires for the time being. The price was worth it and their service was quick. The customer service was great and they didn't have to go back and check again for a same branded same model tire but they did.

Before getting into the truck, I specifically asked about the price and was told it would be $325 per hour. The trip took about one hour, so I reasonably expected a bill of around $325-$650 at most. The company explained that I was being billed not only for the actual towing time, but also for the driver's travel time to reach me and for his return trip afterward. According to them, the driver needed nearly four hours of billable travel time for a route between Discovery Bay and Concord. This was never clearly explained before the tow began. I felt misled by the pricing and would not have agreed to the service had I known the true cost in advance. Make sure you get the total price in writing before accepting any service from this company. I would not recommend them.

I called wondering if I could have him come out to fix it (I thought labor was covered under warranty). He said it wasn't and started saying that he has never had issues in 10 years and he wouldn't come out because gas was too expensive. I am willing to pay someone (including him) to fix it, but opted not to go with him because he was speaking unkindly and accusing the other mechanic of being wrong. I am disappointed in the service and follow up. I would suggest going to a local shop instead of someone who travels.

What a breath of fresh air going to a shop as a new customer and being treated as if I were family. They were able to get me right in for oil change and inspection of a leak. I was emailed the inspection findings with pictures of where the leak was coming. Impressive. They were not pushy to "get the sale", they informed me of recommended repairs/maintenance needed and let me decide what worked best for me, that I appreciate.
