I live in Manhattan and had my Harley in long term storage at my uncles house. It needed tires and an oil change. I found Larry here on Yelp. There was only one review so I wasn't sure if it was even a real review. Let me assure you, this guy is a conscientious and honest mechanic. He seems to take pride in the fact that he charges a fraction of the Harley dealer, but that's not really impressive if you've ever gone to a Harley dealer. I found his pricing fair, as in he is making a living and does not gouge at all. What is impressive is the fact that he really takes pride in his work. I went to pick up my bike at his place and had forgot to mention that the foot hold on the clutch side would spin. He had been paid he took another twenty minutes to fix it because as he said it could be dangerous. If I can get the bike to Bergen I will use him again and again. If you're lucky enough to live nearby he will pick up your bike at no cost. I'm a fan, and recommend this mechanic. read more

I could not recommend Larry and Mike enough. They are two stand up guys. I recently had them install Ape bars and drag pipes on my Harley Fatboy. They did an amazing job. The bike runs amazingly. I received my bike back cleaner than the way I brought it to them. They strive for quality work. They literally went above and beyond in regards to Quality, pricing and speed of work. You can see that when their customers smile and are happy, that they also are happy and smiling. They make you feel at home in their shop unlike the dealerships where you're only a number of the day. They understood that I'm a newer rider and had extreme patience with me. They explained everything in great detail of any issues I had with my bike. I knew that my Bike was in great hands, and I was RIGHT! I will be going to these guys for EVERYTHING with my bike, whether it's for a simple oil change or a complete customization. Found Larry here on yelp. Needed a quick carb and jets cleaned and he arrived in his mobile trailer fully stocked and ready to go. Great quality work, down to earth guy, finished a lot faster than I thought. The bike needed some work done to the clogged carbs and jets. After hanging a bit with Larry turns out he's just a few towns away in bergen county. Definitely recommend his services, professionalism. If I stay with the sport I will have him work on my bike!! read more

I can't comment on how good their work is! after multiple attempts to reach them via their contact form on the website, then through the mobile text message( their preferred method) and finally through their direct phone, I have yet to hear back from them( it has been over two weeks now). So, I would love to have been able to say good things about them but all I can say is that they are not the most responsive nor courteous. A "thank you but no thank since we are too busy" would have been the least they could have done. read more

Tried to schedule an appointment. No answer on the phone left a message...no call back. FInally replies to a text later in the day. I asked about his availability he says booked with a waiting list. I asked to be added to the list no reply back... I'm taking it to the dealer... What a joke. Cant say much about the work he does because it seems painfully hard to schedule a visit with the guy. I'd gladly pay extra for a solid appointment at the dealer. read more

My brother purchased a 2005 CBR 600RR that sat a few years and would not start. After quotes from Dealers of $1000 and up, we saw his page. We tried to start the bike and to no avail, it would not turn over. We purchased a new battery and even to tried to roll start it. I dismantled the fuel tank and put Evaporust from Amazon. Nothing. Larry from Mobile Motorcycle Repair came by and looked at it. We were skeptical at first, but he knew what he was talking about. Instead of buying new parts, i.e. new tank, fuel pump and lines, etc., he tried his own method of repair. We saved so much from going to the dealership. He took my bike back to his location in Emerson and gave me updates frequently. I had my bike the next day. He does most jobs on site unless it is severe such as mine. I am not paid by him but I know a good business man when I see one. No bs, I recommend him and his business 100%. He fixes, maintains, and does custom work on all motorcycles. I too found Larry here on yelp, and what a good find. Got him to come over, rebuilt the carb. changed all the fluids. Great job, my bike had not been rode in 2 years due to knee's etc. anyhow Larry and Melissa are a great team. I will use him again and again, and would refer him to anyone. I have a 2008 V-Star 1300 touring, a friend gave me MMR for a service. One of the best decision I made. The service was complete, reasonable and the bike ran like a clock. Gave him to a friend that had his Harley not running for a year and he told me the bike was better then when he got it. I recently had MMR install a CB, it was a clean excellent install, but the CB worked for a few rides and died. I went to Americade to the company it was pruchased from and they had to replace the unit as defective. The two installers siad it was one of the best install they have seen on there product. read more
