In years past I have had good experiences with the company and Tim doing a needed repair or maintenance on my residential self propelled push mower. Recently miscommunication around an end of season appointment resulted in no-show from the team. Ensuing defensive posture in emails left me with a changed perception. I suspect Tim and team still do good work. But if you get an email stating "Just confirming your appointment" realize Natalie isn't confirming but instead is asking 'do you still want this appointment?' in code. I'm sure business from my push mower is meaningless to them. This experience has tipped the scales for me, I think. I'm considering a rechargeable battery based mower come spring. read more

Absolutely go with anyone else you can find. Earliest appointment to fix a single blade is two weeks out on a Wednesday in the morning. Most people have jobs and can't make that happen. As well as the mower is broken NOW, not TWO WEEKS FROM NOW, and the grass is still growing..... What a joke. read more

Too good to be true - for the win. This is the perfect service. All lawn mowers need service. Period. But most of us don't have the time or the vehicle to get a mower serviced - plus you never know how long you'll be without your mower. These guys book an appointment. On June 7th, Mobile Mower Techs came to my house to repair my John Deere lawn tractor. I paid $191 for the repair and one week later I had the same problem. I contacted the business and it took them two days to respond to me. I felt this was unacceptable and that businesses should be able to respond within 24 hours. The owner, Natalie, was clearly upset that I would question why they did not respond sooner and rather than apologize and try to rectify the situation, she has chosen to ignore me. This is probably due to the fact that I posted two negative reviews about her business. They offer a 30 day guarantee on their work and I have clearly contacted them several times within that 30 day period only to be ignored. At this time, I would like a full refund as this company has no intention of communicating with me or honoring their 30 day guarantee. Threats? Do share who and how I threatened someone because it did not happen. Now you want me to sue you for slander? read more

I find it interesting that Timothy responded in defense of my review and stated I was MIA on the date of service. I spent 10-15 minutes in my garage speaking with the tech regarding the service and my mower, even worked from home that afternoon so I could be here while the work was being performed. Also, had I been attempting to avoid payment, I wouldn't have had to call Coastal Credit Union after paying with the credit card yesterday to stop payment that was made on the 6th of Dec. The $300 for service nor the threat to turn over to collections had nothing to do with me not making payment and in three or so years of using your company, I always paid promptly. I'm sorry Timothy, but this is not about proving who's right or wrong nor getting the last word in. There's no excuse for yelling at a customer and your response only reaffirms your office practices. Respond if you like again and defend Natalie for yelling at me, I applaud your chivalry, but I won't respond again. Natalie texted and rescheduled my appointment for a week later after they had a truck breakdown during the Labor Day weekend. Once my appointment finally arrived the repair man got to my home and noticed a fuse in the cup holder, without further diagnosis on my mower he called and informed me that I would need a new wire harnesses costing 500-600 dollars because he believed there was a short in my wire harnesses (blades not engaging). I didn't allow him to do this repair. After reviewing the cameras in my yard I saw that he saw the fuse in the cup holder that was from another truck I own and he assumed it was from the lawn mower. He performed no further diagnosis and charged me 85.75 for driving to my house, starting my lawn mower once ,misdiagnosing the issue then attempted to charge me 500-600 dollars for a repair not needed. Natlie was polite and let me pay using Venno when my phone detected a virus in the payment link the repairman sent. I don't recommend this company at all. read more

So my first time with this company, they did a pretty good job. I requested a few things done, and some were done and others weren't because the tech thought it would last longer (battery). No problem, mower worked fine the next 12 months. So when I noticed one of my blades was bent last week, I reached back out to them. I received an email today that says I am "unfortunately out of their service area", despite having provided service last year. It says they provide service to my county (Wake) and Fuquay-Varina, which I am 7 minutes south of. Communication with the company is extremely slow, as it took several days to even get the email stating they don't service my area. Whatever. read more

OK, this is the best service ever! With two lawn tractors that needed annual service and one with other issues, it was great to have the technician come right to my house. The fees were reasonable and with a follow on visit to replace worn blades, my tractors were running like new and I didn't have to leave my home during the pandemic.
