We contacted ABC Raleigh Appliance Repair because our dryer was extremely loud when it ran. They responded quickly to our questions and we were able to schedule them to come out the next day. Alex, their technician, was punctual, polite, and was able to quickly take the dryer apart to investigate the issue. Although he thoroughly checked the belt, drum, rollers, and motor, we both didn't see any real cause of the noise. Everything was functioning normally. He put everything back together and ran the dryer again several times and the noises had gone away. Although he could have changed out parts for new ones, he didn't want to charge us for anything that wasn't necessary. Alex called ahead, arrived promptly and went right to work cleaning the dryer top to bottom, checking the air flow to the external vent, installing an extension to the internal vent and throughly vacuuming the closet where it is located. Wow! They were super responsive, and Alex was here in a flash! He went straight to work, investigated the issue fully, ran a few tests, figured out how to fix the issue, and voila! The icemaker no longer spits water out the back of the unit! EUREKA!! He explained the issue, and told me I could call him back if I had any problems. He explained what problems to be on the lookout for, and told me of the options to address them, should those problems arise (and that he would order a part if necessary). I called this company at 8:50 PM on a Saturday due to our LG refrigerator's freezer stopped working. Alex was here at 9:10 AM the next day, Sunday. After a few hours of his investigations after taking the freezer apart, he recommended a new refrigerator since an attempt to temporarily fix the problem would be so expensive. Alex was polite, instructive, thorough, and only charged me the service fee (plus tax). While the frig was pulled out, Alex wiped up all the dust/dirt on the floor where the frig is usually positioned. This is a great company and Alex is a super technician. Had door and light issue on my built in microwave. Spoke with Maria and had a appointment the next day. That was great, as my washing machine was giving a sporadic trouble code, while the fridge choking was the primary objective.
