We had an amazing discussion with the lady running the shop while we nibbled our ice Cream. We also met quickly the owner Scott, a lovely man. The shop was started LONG LONG ago by 3 Georges, seriously. Scott and family has kept to the original recipes AND the old fashion Soda Fountain! The ice was yummy, the chocolate melted in our mouth. I decided to make my way over to Ginger & Spice. The place is located on Dauphin Street. It's in like an alleyway with other stores next to it. When I got there I totally went past the menu and waited for the person at the cashier. She greeted me and I asked what kind of smoothies they had. She pointed to the menu and I felt a little silly. I looked at the menu. From my earlier search I knew I wanted the Mansa Musa. I ordered it and added ginger. It didn't take long for my smoothie to be ready. The smoothie looked really good. I took a sip and it was delicious. It wasn't too sweet either. The ginger added a nice flavor to it. I'd definitely recommend this place for smoothies. The juices and other items look good as well.
