Not the kind of problem you want to deal with on a trip. I called Nick and he responded right away. He made time to come out the same day. He diagnosed the issue quickly and knew exactly what was wrong. The automatic transfer switch had failed. Instead of delaying the repair, he tracked down the part himself, picked it up, and came back to install it. That level of effort matters when you are on a tight timeline. The repair was clean and professional. Power was restored and my entire weekend was back on track. What could have been a ruined trip turned into a great one. He did not stop there. He worked through the warranty process and made sure the repair was covered. I ended up fully reimbursed by the manufacturer. That saved me money and a lot of hassle. Nick goes above and beyond. He is responsive, knowledgeable, and committed to taking care of his customers. If you need mobile RV service, this is the guy to call. Nick if you see this, I truly apologize for such a late review. My mother in law stills talks about how nice you were and was happy that you stayed for a meal with us!

I hired this company to diagnose an issue with my RV slide and paid $200 for the service call…read more Their conclusion was that the motors needed to be replaced, and I was told they would follow up with a quote for parts and labor. Instead, I contacted BAL, the manufacturer of the slide system, directly. BAL recommended a retrofit repair kit as the proper fix, which I purchased myself for $160. That kit includes two new motors. Once I had the OEM-recommended parts, I asked this company for a labor-only quote. After multiple follow-ups, they declined to even provide one, stating their technician "has not had good luck" with these retrofit kits and that they were not comfortable performing the repair. That's the part I find most frustrating. The retrofit kit still involves replacing the same motors they originally diagnosed as failed. If they were not comfortable performing the manufacturer-recommended repair, that should have been disclosed upfront -- before I paid for a diagnosis and spent time sourcing the solution myself. I appreciate their honesty in ultimately admitting their limitations, but that honesty came after the fact, not before. In the end, I paid $200, got no repair, no quote, and no clear path forward until I handled it myself. Future customers should ask upfront whether the technician is experienced with their specific slide system and whether they are willing to quote labor separately before paying for a diagnosis.

I also had a second trailer I'd recently purchased and was struggling to keep the batteries charged--again, Tim quickly found the issue and gave me a straightforward solution. Beyond being highly knowledgeable (which he absolutely is), Tim is also generous with his time. I rent one of my trailers, and he even offered to help with transport if I ever needed it. He also referred me to a trusted dealer for additional solar panels. Tim told me he was happy to provide "free advice" via text or phone, and unfortunately for me, I needed it sooner than expected. True to his word, he helped me troubleshoot over a handful of texts. When it became clear that the issue required an in-person visit, he immediately offered times to come back out. The price he quoted me initially--which I already thought was extremely fair, especially since he comes to you--was exactly what he charged. No surprises, no hidden fees. Tim has been fantastic to work with. He's responsive, reliable, and incredibly helpful. Anytime I need support with my trailers, he's my go-to guy. Highly recommend.

EDIT in response to rebuttal. What I wanted was for this company to do is simply acknowledge that…read morehe misrepresented the condition of the trailer. As such, he should have also refunded the $500 holding deposit. What I received was refusal and harassment. Any "written contract" he is claiming is not true, as there was none. I should have insisted prior to making that deposit. There is nothing of the sort. He is plain and simply evading responsibility. If he has such it is definitely fraud. I'm writing this review in hopes that another family will not be taken advantage of. I applied to purchase a trailer from Westland Campers on July 27th. On July 29th I spoke with a man named Sean. He advised that I was approved for a 2018 Wildwood Xtreme Lite. There would be $2000 down, and $700 per month for 60 months. I was pretty excited to have a new trailer for our annual camping trip! He sent photos, answered my questions, and assured me that the tires, roof and trailer were in great shape. Unfortunately, he said he was leaving for vacation, then needed a day to go through the trailer and get it ready for the sale when he returned, so we wouldn't be able to pick up the trailer until 8/4. Additionally, I was told he'd need the $2k right away via Zelle to hold it. I didn't feel comfortable with that arrangement, so he agreed to hold it if I'd send $500 immediately via Zelle, and the rest at pick up on the 4th, so I did do $500. We went ahead and postponed our trip from the 1st to the 4th. We had everything laid out at home ready to load our new-to-us trailer, got the trailer insured, and planned to pick up the trailer & head out! Sean wasn't sure what the hitch size we needed was, so we brought a reversible ball, and figured we'd have to stop for a load-leveling sway hitch once we knew the type we needed. Upon arrival at Westland Campers in Pomona, we excitedly went to check out the trailer. The first thing we noticed was that all 4 tires were completely cracked and chewed up. Sean had assured me the tires were fine. When we pointed this out, he said we could take the trailer to his tire person a few miles away for new tires. I feel that he should have checked the tires before answering that they were in good shape. Next, we noticed that there was no mattress on the queen bed. I don't mind that, but it adds an extra layer of work needed prior to using the trailer. He didn't tell me about that. Third, the trailer was filthy. There were handprints, dirt, stains, and rodent feces in some drawers. This trailer would require a full day of hard cleaning, as well as the time needed to get the tires replaced to be usable. On the outside, the awning had multiple tears. Several of the plastic latches & light covers were missing or broken. He said he'd order replacements and send them to us, but again, this should have been done prior to delivery in my opinion. After weighing the amount of work and time, expense, and not having a proper hitch configuration, we decided not to move forward with the purchase. After much back and forth discussion with Sean, he declined to refund the good-faith deposit, or even apologize for the misrepresentation of the trailer's condition. I initially wrote this review on Tuesday evening. Sean repeatedly text me with threats and rude comments, saying I was lying, and insisting I remove my review. Finally, I just deleted it. It was stressing me out and I was trying to enjoy what was left of my time off work. But I've decided I will not succumb to blackmail. I went back through the dates, messages and conversations. Everything I am saying is the complete truth and I double checked prior to rewriting this review. I am not trying to "ruin his reputation", I simply want potential customers to be careful and trust your gut when dealing with Westland Campers.
