Customer service all around I have never been so aggravated…read morewith a company like this before I have been on hold off n on since 1/pm I called at 11/am spoke with a girl she had to see when I could get my oxygen She called I ran to catch the call she left voicemail only said Binson So I called back Been getting nothing but run around n hung up on calling back same thing since 1/pm I actually was trying on line Was in the middle of a review ended up losing it when I received a text to call so I did at exactly 4:00pm put on hold It is 4:28 Still on hold Previous calls I asked for customer service they acted like HUH?!?? For which department I said the main customer service They demanded a department I finally I told them oxygen Same hold music very aggravating stupid what ever it is not music some kind of beat that slows then speeds up making my heart follow the rhythm and I get chest pains and aggravation build up I just received a call from a Deshanda quite rude she went to check on a delivery possibility for today so now I'm sitting here on hold yet again let's see if anything gets done I'm staying on here this post till she comes back on the phone i can bet $200. If you know me, you'll know there's one particular vendor I've had quite a few issues with and I was pleased to learn I would be working with a smaller, family owned vendor. LJ's Discount Medical is an Indiana owned family business located in Fort Wayne. They've been around for 13 years and specialize in both sales and rental of a variety of durable medical equipment. LJ's carries fairly well known brands - Golden Technologies lift chairs and scooters, Invacare hospital beds, Harmar lifts, Pride power chairs, and others. They will also work to repair and clean equipment. In my situation, they were able to get a fair price on a Ki Catalyst 5, a manual wheelchair. I was able to provide them with exact measurements from a similar chair I'd had, and the owner (obviously LJ) was able to get things ordered and delivered in a timely manner. While it's difficult to facilitate delivery/receipt of a wheelchair when the customer lives in Indy and it's February in Indiana, LJ's went above and beyond to make it happen and they communicated very well with me along the way. I now have a wheelchair that fits me, is safer, and meets my needs. I'm always a fan of using local. That can be difficult with durable medical equipment as there are a handful of major players. LJ's was a great discovery for me and I won't hesitate to return to them with future needs.
