Midwives & doulas are one of a kind. These ladies are genuine in their care, noticing the details, and quick to respond. They stayed with us through each wave of contraction. They catered to any need whether it was a cold, wet rag,water, or check heartbeat. They knew the best positions to move into for each stage of labor. They encouraged and coached us in each moment. They surrounded me in protective care and cheered me on as I pushed. They coached Ed in catching Bo. They tended to every need. They cleaned up any mess... Held me. Comforted me. Reassured me. Gave us sound wisdom during the long hours. Even found moments to laugh. Best and most of all, they believed in us! They trusted in the process. They believed in us as a family, and we had the honor of delivering at the birth center.
