About one week after we bought it my wife wanted to try it out so I fully charged the battery and she took it for a spin around the block in our neighborhood. Everything was great and she loved it. The net week the rains came. After that my wife's cancer took a turn and Hospice was called in. So her new scooter ridden one time was no of no use. I called the store and spoke with the women we bought it from to see if they would take it back she said no. I said I don't expect a full refund just some of it back she said they couldn't take it back. I don't remember a sign that said all sales final. I said ok and hung up. I thought it was a very sorry way to do business. I wouldn't buy from them again. That's why the 3 star rating other wise I would have given a 5 star.

My family and I were in town and the Mall of Georgia was on our list for sites to see. I reviewed the website to see if they offered wheelchair services and the review that stated they did was 3 years old. I continued my search and found that on 2025 they no longer offer the service. So I did a google search and found Mobility Plus Buford which was conveniently located near the mall. It was about 10pm and I had questions. I saw an option to "text" the business and I figured I'd leave my questions and they'd text me the next morning. I was pleasantly surprised when David, the owner, responded right away. He assured me that they had a wheelchair available and once I arrived he'd take care of everything right away. From the beginning transaction till the rental return, it went smoothly and much better than expected. The best part was the no-pressure and supportive environment to figure out what mobility aids were most helpful. While they offer mobility equipment rentals (for as little as a day), their prices on walkers, wheelchairs, rollators, canes, scooters, and accessories were good enough to buy, and insurance didn't even have to be involved! It can be a nerve wracking thing to transition to needing accessibility equipment, and I'm thankful that there are people who work to make the process less painful.
