This business was a lifesaver! My son was recently diagnosed with ALS (Lou Gehrig's Disease) and it was moving quickly, leaving him without the use of his arms or legs.Our family is determined to tackle some of his bucket list items before he can no longer travel, and we were the lucky recipients of a new foldable power wheelchair from a foundation. The problem? We broke the joystick controller in the first week! Cucamonga Medical did not sell us this chair (although they do sell the model -- Pride Jazzy Carbon-- which I highly recommend -- it is light, foldable and durable). With travel reservations within days, we needed a replacement controller or we would have to cancel some very expensive trips. The $400 part was nowhere to be found online. Scott was kind enough to work his magic, and not only sourced the controller, but nudged the manufacturer to replace it under warranty. FREE, and they even paid for expedited shipping because Scott asked them to. Scott did not have to do this. He didn't even sell us the original chair. He made zero profit on this transaction. He did it out of the goodness of his heart. Everyone at Cucamonga Medical Equipment/ Mobility Toys was friendly, kind and super responsive. Their storefront is a little cubby in an industrial park, but if you take the time to go in, you'll see that they sell a variety of accessibly items -- wheelchairs, accessories, shower chairs, cushions, etc. It's worth the visit. Plus they rent equipment like beds and wheelchairs. Highly recommend! read more

The name is what got my attention first: You just have to love the concept of "Mobility Toys"! It's a little hard to find, but once you know where it is, it's definitely worth the effort! The people who work there are knowledgeable, helpful (without being overbearing), and easy to talk with about mobility issues. And, they are quite willing to suggest alternatives if something "just doesn't feel right for me". They are conveniently open and willing to "stay a couple minutes extra" if you're in the middle of a decision. They serviced my wheelchair, mobile scooter, and we plan to rent a hospital bed for my 90yr old mother from mobility as well. Had to rent a wheelchair for out of town guest for approximately 2 weeks. The process was quick and easy. This is a top notch company.

We needed to rent a wheelchair for a weekend event to accommodate someone with disabilities, and this place had a great price for weekly rental when I called. They answered the phone promptly, and are pretty polite over the phone and answered my questions about pricing. We went early on a Friday to pick up the chair, the gentleman helping us, was prompt to take care of his other customer well, and then quickly took care of my husband and I. He offered us 2 chairs, so we had a little variety, which was a pleasant surprise for me, because we had never rented a wheelchair outside of a theme park before. He even walked it to the car for us and showed us how to disassemble and reassemble it, and he put it in the car for us! Very kind man. No problems at all, we got in and out, and payment was taken at the time of pick-up, so returning the chair was easy as well! read more

I injured myself and couldn't walk very well. I ended up getting a scooter quickly from them and the process was seamless! I loved it and if I ever get injured again, which I hope I don't, chances are I'll go there first :) And great prices too!!!! read more

My grandma was in a small accident and needed support standing and moving around, mobility toys was happy to help and was able to find the right walker and cane for her size. My wife who is 4' 11" tall with severe Alzheimer's and very little mobility was in need of a small supportive Lift recliner chair. This company's internet ad featured exactly what we were looking for. Seat size was 18" D 18" W and 19" H. Chair was Pride Lift #LC 201 3. Chair was ordered. When received and unboxed, the chair was not at all what we ordered. Though it was a very nice chair, possibly as an alternate, but the dimensions were 21.5 D 21 W 18.5 H and was a Golden Technologies product. It certainly couldn't cradle her, and with her in a sitting position, she was about 4" from the back rest. ( even with a pillow behind her back, she slid out of the chair ) CALLS TO THE COMPANY were never returned. . Fortunately, a search found another company with a chair almost identical. So we placed an order. Since 2 weeks have passed, we've been propping her up in a makeshift way. I couldn't find it in myself to give them more than a 1 star rating.???? read more
