This place is a absolute gem in the valley, people don't like this place simply because of the price. This is mochi nut- it's a mochi donut that's not supposed to be THAT sweet. It's not supposed to make you feel heavy like a regular does. It's supposed to be soft yet chewy. We ordered half of a dozen and they were so fresh abs delicious! Our fav was the coconut and taro. We also got the honey dew and taro milk tea. So delicious too! Last but not the least. We got a half and half potato dog with hotdog and mozzarella. With everything it was around 40$. Mochinut? In the valley? Wow. I live in San Francisco and have had mochi donuts, boba, and all the fun things they sold here... But god damn, hella rude. Workers didn't care. The owner(I'm assuming) didn't want to give me my food. I couldn't find my receipt and she held back the food as if I were going to steal it. When I pointed at the cashier who took my order she pretended as if she had never seen me before. I guess she forgot who I was because the order took way too long. But once again, held the food as if she was protecting it with her life. Yes, I'm totally gonna steal the food I just bought. Mozzarella dog was meh. Boba is made with powder. Mochi "NOT" Horrible customer service! They would not even make eye contact or acknowledge you are standing there while you're waiting to be served. The least they could do would be to acknowledge you and let you know they'll be right with you. Then waited way too long for my order after I was helped. This is my second time there. The first time was horrible too, but hubby wanted to see if what I experienced was just by chance. We both walked away very disappointed. Wow! read more

Was in Imperial visiting family and was so surprised (& excited) to see a Mochinut in El Centro! Stopped by to grab a few mochinuts. The selection here was amazing compared to the one we have back home. They had a HUGE variety of flavors. Everyone loved them. The woman working the counter was so sweet and helpful. She even made me a free iced coffee to go with my order. Will definitely stop by again when I'm in the valley. read more

Closed for an hour and a half while the employees stand around twiddling their thumbs, talking and texting on their phones. Doors are not even locked. When I opened the door I was literally shooed away like a damn dog with the hand and all. I had Mochinut before from San Diego. So when I saw they're gonna have a Monchinut in the valley I really happy. Everything was good for me. Until yesterday, I went in around 6:00 something to order milk tea boba and donuts, they about to ran out of donuts. I was waiting for my boba milk tea and the girls was talking like they messed up something. And I saw them was cleaning up. And one of the girl grab a milk tea powder bag to the sink. So I was watching to see what she's gonna do. And guess what. She is making milk tea from the sink water and the milk tea powder. I was like for real... you are using a sink water to mix a $5.00 milk tea. Not even tap water. I was disappointed. I'm not gonna come back. read more

One of the imperial valley's hidden gems, such a great place to stop by to fulfill a sweet craving the donuts are amazing and so rich in flavor and the bobas are so good my favorite is a pistachio boba blended with the regular pearls but don't get me wrong the exploding pearls are just as cool too! But my favorite donut definitely has to be the choco churro can never go wrong with that one!!! I definitely recommend this place,& not only that but they have a lot of popular Korean items that are really fun to try! & they definitely have great customer service, every time I walk in i am greeted in remembrance by mochinut crew member eleihla!! Horrible place and super unorganized. Looks like the building had be abandoned and just opened again without any cleaning or such. Waited for a good HOUR for 2 corndogs which were not even good. You can't taste the cheese in the corndogs... just oil and your hands will be drenched. Super overpriced honestly. read more

This place has horrible service. We waited almost 30 minutes for 4 drinks and 1 hotdog. They said they didn't have Boba but two customers after we ordered gave the customer a drink with Boba. Our drinks got given to us 10 minutes later and we waited 20 minutes for a single hotdog. All this time waiting other customers that came after us got their drinks AND HOTDOGS, after us. The donuts were ok but the cleanliness and customer service is lacking. The floor and walls look dirty. There was trash and food crumbs all over the floor. They have a table set up as a counter where they hand you your order and that was covered in spills and trash. The ladies behind the counter look irritated and like they hate their job. I waited for more than 20 minutes for a stinking hot dog. It probably would have been longer had I not made eye contact with the person in the kitchen in the back. I love the mochi donuts so I try to stop by when I'm in El Centro. Unfortunately, they almost never have all the flavors at once. When I ask if they have any of the other flavors they advertise it's always no. Please do a better job of keeping all the donut flavors available like other specialty shops. Also, your staff isn't very welcoming or friendly. A smile and a "welcome" "thank you have a great day" goes a long way. read more

If I could leave 0 reviews I would. The customer service was extremely terrible. This was me and my sisters first time reviewing the new opened store and ordered two mango boba teas. There were two teenagers working, young girls working one of them stated her name was Kimberly and all I asked was whether there was green or black tea for our boba at the register while ordering and one of the girls stated they only used powder for the boba teas and so I ordered and waited. About 8-10 new customers came and went within 5 minutes with their orders ready. Me and my sister didn't order anything that would have taken too long to make. So after 20 minutes of waiting Kimberly approaches us and asked what we were waiting for and to see a receipt, although she was clearly at the front of the store and saw us order. Within 2 minutes our drinks were made and these two girls were laughing and talking about us as they were making our drinks. Very inappropriate behavior as employees to be acting as children in a newly opened place. A way to lose customers. I will not be going back. We went in at around 3pm, Kimberly had blonde highlights in her hair and the other employee working was a young girl tall with black hair and was working as cashier, she is the one who took our order. After getting our drinks we asked for a manager which Kimberly stated there wasn't any on staff, unprofessional to not have a manager nor a supervisor supervising the other employees on shift.
