Reached out to a few companies and Al's quote turned out to be the lowest of the three I received. He was very thorough in detailing his suggestions for us and we eventually decided to zero-scape the front lawn. He gave us options to choose from, explained what has worked best for him in the past. He took out our existing bushes by our front windows, ensuring he got most, if not all of the roots so they wouldn't be an issue moving forward, planted 4-5 yucca plants, put granite rock down to cover the yard and our curb with a barrier around the whole area. We also went with a two-foot-wide extension from the side of our driveway that has 2" pavers and crushed granite so I could better get out of my vehicle since I have mobility issues. We also had him trim our huge Ash tree in the front since it needed it badly. Al was very professional, kept us in the loop on all decisions and got the job done quickly. It also involved the tub removed and a tiled shower built and then the whole bathroom tiled. We ran into a couple of issues during the project from when the house was built. The contractors did a poor job when they ran the water lines and laid the foundation. Igor found and fixed the mistake. I am very happy with the work he and his crew did. I have asked them to quote me on the remodel of my other bathroom. All the other people that quoted me said this would take at least a month or more plus outrageous prices. This project was completed to perfection in 2 weeks. They were very tidy and professional, even with a cane corso dog bothering them the whole time.

My email stated going forward we will only communicate via email as text messages are not good documentation for a $3K project (it is what he gave me without seeing the project). A week has past and no response. I had another very bad experience last year with another concrete person and Ramos seemed to follow the same path, so I am backing off. The $3K did not include materials. It is not a big job, and I have done this myself in past homes. As you can see in his response below that he never intended to follow-up yet lead me to believe he would send an estimate and to send him pictures. Why say that with no intention to follow-up. amazing how a negative review gets immediate attention.
