This MOD is pretty good. We got the salad pizza, a make your own, wings & no name chocolate cakes. I got a pizza with garlic, olive oil, green peppers, olives, jalapeños, chicken and sausage with a balsamic drizzle. It was super yummy flavors. My only grip with the pizza is that the topping weren't distributed evenly (as seen in pic). Let's just say I don't necessarily feel like it was made with love but it was tasty nonetheless. Salad pizza was plentiful. The wings were meh, we wouldn't order again. The cakes are similar to ding dongs & super yummy! Pretty slow when we came in. Def lots of seating. No wait. I don't know if it's because of the location and/or service but the few times I've been here it's always like this. Never have to worry about it being crowded. But I don't know why. Each time I've been no one has had any issues with what is ordered. I always get "create your own" pizzas at places like this because I love being able to choose my own combination of toppings to create my perfect pizza. And I love saying (and getting) more of my fave toppings when I think they did the put enough. Think Subway Sandwich shops but for pizzas. My friend and I enjoyed our pizzas and time that evening. The food is pretty good. I've had them messed up my order a couple times, but they're usually very friendly and they always fix it and are very kind and compensating towards customers. Restaurants, nice I actually like the vibe that they got in there. Don't be mean to the people there it's younger teenagers people who go to college. Our family ended up leaving to go somewhere else. Had 4 employees and only 3 families in the restaurant. Tonight, time management and customer service was not their jam. Not really a reflection on the place itself, but worth nothing that getting in and out of this place with the idiot street design sucks ass, which also goes for everything else in that area. Is it worth fighting to go here...? Well, YMMV. MOD is another of those fast thin crust pizza places, except they use an oven here instead of a conveyor belt, which automatically makes it better. Also, the staff seems to genuinely care about the experience, which makes a huge difference. Lots of different options for pizza, including a spicy sauce (but wish they had kalamatas or green olives) and their salads are also pretty solid. The fountain selection could be better, but aside from that, this location is probably the best this style of pizza can possibly be. I personally enjoyed what I had, but I will be the first to say it, as I have done many, many times before, that I am a convenience whore and this place, again not their fault, with trying to get in and out of the traffic clusterfuck, is not convenient to get in and out of particularly. Happily, for me, I'm rarely in that area, but if I was and needed a quick lunch, I would strongly consider hitting this place up again, even without my beloved Coke Zero on tap. read more

Love mod pizza but, got a pizza tonight and it was drenched in balsamic, not just a little but like they poured the entire bottle on top. I tried eating a slice but all you could taste was the balsamic. I ordered online and didn't check until I got home. It was missing the arugula also. I was so disappointed l. I sent a picture to a friend who worked at another one and she told me to go back and show them. The box was drenched also. She said that was unacceptable. I didn't want to drive 15 mins back. "We make pizza so we can serve people" Whaaaa? I was served... but nothing good. If I started a pizza place my catch phrase would be "we make pizza because we're damn good at it". Sauce, weak. Dough, heavy (too much flour). Cheese, stingy. Toppings, okay. Due to the light sauce (because of the sauce shortage of 2021 of course) the pizza didn't have a taste beyond a lightly cheesy bread with other toppings. I had one bite where I could taste the sauce. One actually pretty delicious bite. The rest was disappointing. I will admit there is a fine line between a good amount of sauce and too much. But this was so far from the line that the inventor of pizza Mr Georgino Pizzarano would be rolling in his Calzone style grave. At the end of my stay I looked around at the packed place. I just got back from a trip; it was ridiculously hot out and I was dying to be inside and eat for a bit. I went to get some MOD Pizza because I was craving a specific kind of pizza that not a lot of pizza places are willing to offer; pesto. I got a build your own pizza in the mod size with pesto, grilled chicken and cheese of course. That's it. It's the weirdest order but there are times that I crave it and want nothing more. I'm really disappointed. My pizza was horribly put together, and was definitely overcooked. My wife's pizza was very burn and hard. See pictures. Today was my first trip to Mod Pizza and it was amazing! My grandchildren felt so special being able to have their own special pizza exactly the way they wanted and watching it bake was fascinating for them. The manager AJ stopped and talked with us after we finished our lunch. He was sincere when asking us how we enjoyed our meal (which was some of the best pizza and garlic bread I've had). He also took the time to answer the many questions from my curious young grandchildren regarding the beautiful artwork and photos on the walls. He also made a point of telling us the backstories behind some of them. I must say, I was impressed not just with the wonderful food or the beautiful restaurant, but mostly AJ's special gift of making us feel like welcomed guests. As far as thin-crust, fast casual pizza goes, Mod is pretty good, and pretty cheap. I'm a boring person and just like the plain' old cheese and/or pepperoni, but there is a wide array of options you can add for no extra cost. Multiple kinds of cheese, alfredo sauce, chicken, olives, peppers, mushrooms, bell peppers, you name it. The crust isn't especially memorable or flavorful, but at least it's not chewy and tough. My bar is kind of low. The sauce and mozz are perfect in their simplicity, though. All I need. In addition to pizza, they have pleasantly mediocre garlic strips with various sauces, plus the "no-name cake" for dessert, which is literally just a Hostess Ding-Dong in different wrapping and presumably homemade-ish. Drinks include housemade teas and regular soda offerings, including the unusual Blue Sky brand in the fountain (there's a mango-flavored soda that I'm a fan of). For a cheap night out (especially in a town without many other options), it's just fine. A word of warning, though: don't go if you're in any kind of a hurry. In fact, I would recommend that you're not even all that hungry when you go through the doors because they are sloooooooow. You will wait. In line to order. While they're making the pizza. While they're firing the pizza. While they're frantically plating the pizzas and calling names. From the moment I stepped in line to the moment I received my pizza last time I was there was somewhere in the vicinity of 20-25 minutes. Maybe I was hangry and that doesn't seem like a lot to the rest of you, but I do think they'd benefit from hiring more people. read more

Okay, I'm actually laughing pretty hard as I'm writing this because I'm still trying to wrap my mind around the "peppermint" chocolate shake I just had at this joint. Like, I'm still wondering if they completely forgot the peppermint, or if that's actually how it comes. Either way, not a good look. Scratch that, it actually LOOKED pretty dang good. The presentation on both the shake and pizza was really solid. They'll get a couple stars from me on that alone. But the taste? The shake tasted like hot fudge and vanilla ice cream. And while that's not the worst thing ever, it's also not what I ordered. Peppermint is a pretty strong flavor, and to taste NONE? They had to have made it wrong....right? As for the pizza, it doesn't taste like much of anything at all. I got 2 different types of peppers and they tasted similar same as the dough, cheese, and sauce that ewww there too. But hey, to be fair they never said the Pizza was good, they just said it was fast. But in the same vein of "fairness" it wasn't fast. I ordered, used the restroom, returned, sipped my bland shake for another 5 minutes until my "superfast" pizza came. Successful food joints are normally fast, taste amazing, or some of both. I have been to this location many times now so I am updating my review that I left after going only one time. It is no longer my favorite pizza place, that spot is reserved for Pizza studio. It is still good though. My favorite part is that they have dairy free cheese and that they do not charge extra for it. In 2020 they reduced the size of the mini pizzas and now they are quite small, about the perfect size for a child I guess. They have an app that you can download to get points each time you purchase pizza etc and once you get 150 points you get one free menu item.
