I am extremely disappointed with Modani Furniture. I purchased a couch from them, and it arrived in terrible condition. The cushions are practically empty--there is little to no padding inside the pillows, making the couch uncomfortable and unusable. The overall build quality is very low and nowhere near what you'd expect for the price. What makes this even worse is the customer service. I have contacted Modani multiple times trying to resolve the issue, and they have been completely unhelpful. There has been no effort to fix the problem, replace the defective cushions, or offer a reasonable solution. I've been passed around with no accountability and no real support. This has been a frustrating experience from start to finish. I purchased the Oxford dining table not even two months ago. While eating last week I dropped my fork and it caused the table to have a ding and peel. Why is a table peeling from a fork.. Cheap materials, but not cheap prices! Customer service told me that they can't do anything about it since over 7 days old. Referred me to their partner to repair at my cost. I placed an order weeks ago and have had nothing but frustration ever since. After multiple complaints, I was finally told my furniture would be delivered on Friday, June 6. I cleared my schedule and even took personal leave from my duties as an active-duty member to be available. By mid-morning Friday, I still hadn't received any delivery window. I reached out around 11 AM and didn't get a vague response until 1:30 PM saying the delivery would happen "today" and someone would contact me from EDC "within a couple of hours." No one ever did. I waited all day with no further updates, no delivery, and no idea where my furniture even is. This isn't the first issue, either. I've previously been given inaccurate info, including being wrongly told that my order was canceled by an EDC representative not even anyone from Modani. Communication has been slow, dismissive, and totally unprofessional throughout. I expected better from a company that positions itself as a premium furniture retailer. Instead, I've experienced delays, misinformation, and total disregard for the customer experience. We just purchased a dresser from this store. The sales associate, Gee Yang, was incredibly rude and unhelpful. We were told we would have to carry a heavy dresser off the floor by ourselves, with no help from any employee. I hired someone to pick it up and when he got there at first she refused to let him pick it up. Then he showed her the receipt with her name on it. She denied that was her even though she was sitting at a desk with her name plate on it. Then when he asked if she would open the front door so he could get the dresser outside, she refused. She said they have no loading dock, no warehouse staff, and they refuse to help in ANY WAY after you purchase their overpriced furniture. Be forewarned! read more

READ before buying Modani Marble products (specially tables) When you go to Modani and buy a marble product they claim that the marble piece is solid marble with just clear coating on it for protection. This is NOT TRUE! The marble that you see is not the actual marble but some kind of cheap coating. I figured this out, fortunately because my table "Nazario Dining Table Small" was delivered with a chip/damage on one of the edges. See the images for cheap coating details. Now, as lot of people already complained online, about Modani customer support, I experienced the same arrogant support when I tried to explain the fake/knock off marble table. Any way long story short I have asked for a FULL refund and will update about that experience as well. Table is already picked up for return. read more

If I could give Modani a 0 in customer service, I would. They took in the wrong order - twice. I ordered a small table and the rep ordered the large one. After they realized their mistake, they wanted to charge us for redelivery for their mistake. Additionally, everytime I would call to check in the status of my order, the employee would tell me to call and check my order status instead of her assisting. Staff is super unhelpful and rude. I would NOT recommend buying from here at all. Save yourself the hassle and purchase your furniture elsewhere. read more

Designs are fine but products are cheap and service worse. I purchased a piece that came damaged. When I took back to the store, they said "take it back to the warehouse yourself or pay". They then offered me $100 credit on to keep a $450 badly dinged up item. And said "if you don't accept the offer today, the deal is off the table". read more

No update from the shop at all until Dec. 5th. Did send several emails asking the status, Eric replied that container has arrived but waiting for unloading and delivery will be around 12/7. NO DELIVERY NO UPDATE 12/7. After several emails follow up, Lacy said delivery will take 2 more weeks without any explanation. Now delivery is informed as 12/28. Overall horrendous quality. Ikea makes better couch than here. Fabric sectional comes with cheap filling that leaves white residues everywhere when you're trying to get the cover out to wash. I just called to request a status on a online order placed 3 weeks ago. I have tried calling the customer service several times and dispatch. No one seemed to work or care for their customers! However they are very quick to charge thousands to my credit card. So, I reached out to the nearest store and a woman by name Brittany answered the call and said that corporate does not work on weekends. So she just gave me the online number and asked me to try again . Well to all the sales reps at Modani - perhaps it's time to ask "corporate" for lessons on customer service! We have been waiting over a month for a sofa and two chairs that was promised to be delivered in three weeks. Each time we call they say the order has been delayed or we owe them more money. Modani in Dallas has the worst customer service I've ever experienced in my entire life. They give you the run around, forcing you to have to continuously follow-up with their team, and when you do, it's very clear in their voice how annoyed they are with you. I have been waiting for a lounge chair purchased from them since September. While I am well aware COVID has drastically shifted delivery and shipping expectations, the lack of updates and communication is an expectation that should not go away. It's as if as soon as you give Modani your money, they're uninterested in delivering quality customer service. When I called to request for my chair to be switched from at home delivery to warehouse, I was told the third party warehouse would contact me to confirm. When I didn't hear from them, I called Modani back and the MANAGER I believe his name is IGOR, told me that I was mistaken and that was never an option and asked me "Are you sure you know who you're talking to? This is Modani you know" How disrespectful and unnecessary to say! I will never purchase with this company EVER again for the sake of my nerves. This company makes beautiful furniture, I've purchased my coffee tables, sectional and lounge chair from them but the HEADACHE of this God awful Dallas team is too much. Ordered a white leather sofa but it looks very creamy beige in my all white house. I was just told by modani customer service that if it is ok to them that I will have to pay 35% restocking fee. Spent almost 12k. The buffet etc from them is white but the buffet next to their own white buffet is not white. I ordered white not off white or beige. Ridiculous! The jury is still out. Walked into Modani looking for modern furniture and boy did we find it! They had a beautiful store with all these different collections. The one down side was that we tried to ask someone a question and he directed us back all the way to the front of the store to a 'greeter' even though no one greeted us when we walked in. The had some great sale options but not too much of their stuff is customizable so we didn't end up going with their furniture. Yesterday i just got my protection plan coverage over an email! so simple! :) I have yet to have my table delivered however i have no concerns that will be taken care by them. They have really good furnitue and amazing prices you cannot beat. I am a shoppaholic and i went to 5 different furniture store before finalizing this. 1 star is minus is because when i visited i wished someone showed me around and maybe that is because i didn't take a prior appointment and its COVID time.
