We're relocating to the area and had heard that Serena & Lily matched the coastal vibe we're going for in our new house, so we stopped in to browse dining tables and chairs. The showroom only had a limited selection of dining pieces on display, but they did have a nice variety of sofas, accent chairs, and bedding options to look through. I ordered some beautiful wallpaper and the store in Dallas was great helping me get samples. Unfortunately, when the paper hanger began to lay things out, all 6 rolls did not match on the edges. We called on a Tuesday morning and were instructed to send pictures, which we did immediately and were assured new rolls would be expedited out. On Friday I called to see when to expect the rolls and discovered that my email was never even opened, and the reorder was not even approved yet. The person was very rude. I asked him when I could expect the rolls, and he said no shipping on the weekend so next week Thursday. It is Friday and he did not offer to ship it out today. Great store, but the manager is extremely rude and unhelpful to both us and the rest of the staff. I was shocked at how snappy and frankly mean she was to everyone on the two occasions we visited the store. We will not be going here anymore due to her attitude. read more

Really a very good furniture shopping experience. We ordered furniture, they did a good job doing the quote and were patient helping us with fabrics and getting the order set up correctly, and most importantly the delivery teams (we had two separate deliveries) were good. Everything came when it was supposed to and arrived undamaged. The furniture itself is pretty good, obviously Perennials fabrics are quite luxurious and a premium option for outdoor furniture (better than Sunbrella for sure--just look and feel the texture), but the cushions and frame itself are also comfortable and ergonomic. Only time will tell if the construction is top of the line, but judging by the weight of the pieces the upholstery is solid. We really like the Riviera stools they are well-known for, and although obviously mass-produced (since we see them everywhere), they don't feel that way. read more

Ordered 8 yards of fabric for $750. I expected top notch service for such a premium product. 16 days later the status is still shipping soon, even though I was assured it would ship last week. They also claim a 2-4 week shipping process putting my order delivery date about 2 months after purchase! This has completely held up my project and caused great inconvenience! This is unacceptable and I am cancelling my order and warning others! read more

I have a pending order with RH and wanted a couple of alternatives (Arhaus and Serena and Lily) for living room, accessories, and patio furniture - roughly $30k. I had a 2:00 appointment and arrived 10 minutes early and there was a sign on the door that stated they were at lunch from 1-2. We came back at 2 and the door was still locked. A few minutes later, a gentleman opened the door and we let him know we had an appointment with a designer. He told us to look around and let him know if we had questions. This was not what we were expecting. If we were looking for accessories, this store may be suffice. However, for the scale we are needing, RH is a better fit for us. read more

Went in today hoping to find a lumbar pillow for an existing chair to coordinate with my recent on-line purchase of Serena & Lilly bedding. I was greeted, but it went south from there. I was the only customer in the store, but sales staff seemed too bothered to help me find what I was looking for. When I didn't see my bedding purchase from the samples they showed me, they condensedIy stated "well this is all our bedding", but they had many more samples in a basket where I did find my bedding. I guess I didn't say it right??? Furthermore, they "couldn't get in the drawer" where their pillows were stored, so they showed me a few pillows they could get to, and a couple on-line and said these were my only options. I saw more options when I searched at home, but they just refused to look. I was also interested in purchasing a glass pitcher and when I asked if they had one, I was told "I don't know, if we do, it would be over there". I left feeling like they couldn't or wouldn't help me and decided rather than support the brick and mortar, I'll just order on-line. They were rude and it was extremely disappointing, considering I'd already spent quite a bit on new bedding. Won't go back in spite of having additonal items I was planning to purchase (towels, shower curtains, bath mats, etc) and would have liked to see in person before purchasing. I love Serena and Lilly products, but will only purchase on-line going forward. read more

I had an issue with one of the chairs and one chair didn't arrive. Jenny at the Dallas showroom helped me order a replacement chair and helped set up shipping on the missing item that got lost at fedex. Things happen and I totally get that but it's all about how a company helps resolve them. Jenny was amazing to work with and made sure everything was perfectly sorted out. Love my new Rivera chairs and looking forward to ordering more S&L items. read more

I've stopped by with a couple different friends over the past couple weeks; there is a sign to the right of the door that says something like "Open, Please come in", but then another one that says "by appt. only" and offers a phone number. The doors are locked tight, even during normal hours. The first time I came, about a week ago, I waved at the salesperson through the window, hoping she'd just let my friend and me in, since there was nobody else in the store that I could see. But no luck. She would not even come to the door. The second time we actually called the phone number and said that we were standing right outside, and would it be possible for them to let us in. It was during normal hours. The only people we saw inside were three people sitting at a a table in front, eating. They said they did "not have any appts. open right now." Very strange that they are not interested in walk in business when there are clearly no other customers in the store. Every other design store on the block is letting customers in, with proper precautions. read more

I have never written a review for a store before, but I feel the need to after the great service and help I received from Courtney, a salesperson who works at the Dallas Serena and Lily store. Courtney went over and above in every aspect of helping me work on my new beach house! I was struggling to manage all of my ideas for the house. Courtney listened to my thoughts and quickly pulled it all together beautifully! She would photoshop the pieces that we were buying into a picture of the room to give me a great visual to help me make decisions. She would even print them out for me so i could take them home and decide what i liked or wanted to change! She is truly the best associate I have ever worked with and I can't stop telling people about her and how talented she is! It is like having your own personal decorator that truly cares about your project and is as excited as you are to see it come together! I can't say enough about her and how much she helped me achieve the look i wanted. I would highly recommend her for anyone who is looking to update a room or a whole house! She is so knowledgable and fun to work with! I will actually miss working with her when my project i complete! I love this store! The furniture, decor, bedding and accessories are all amazing. Not only is it lovely and well made, it all coordinates beautifully which makes decorating easy and way more fun !! The staff is friendly and very helpful. I decorated an entire lake home with the help of Star McHodgkins (who is a shining star). She worked nonstop to give me the best service each time I came in for assistance. She is creative, knowledgeable, patient and really nice to work with. Shout out to the Dallas store's management team Carrell Stahala & Jenny Vanwagoner who run a great store. I was just in again today getting stuff for my house in Texas. Serena & Lily has a beautiful catalog and I have always enjoyed its design aesthetic. So I was very excited to learn they opened a store in Dallas on McKinney Avenue. When furnishing my new home, I stopped in and was greeted by a lovely young woman, Courtney, who helped me furnish and decorate my bedroom, living room and outdoor space. She has a great eye for mixing the different textures and colors to make a very pleasing space. This morning I was smiling as I made my bed and was thankful Courtney helped me select the peaceful blue accented items to make a retreat in the bedroom. She's great on the computer and can print out a picture showing how the pieces will look in the space.
