I have been to this specific salon 3 times before and all times my nails weren't great. But today they did them with out trying. Like it's really bad, and I had to ask to clean it up afterwards and she said it was fine and didn't help me. Then, she up charged me after quoting me saying the total was going to be $35 she continued to make me pay $55. She kept changing the prices acting all come fused and she charged me twice then tried to convince me that my card was declined. This place is so bad I don't recommend at all!!!!! read more

I've been to this three times now. It was a recommendation from a neighbor. On my first visit, I wanted a refill (overlay on my natural nails with gel polish. Having been out of commission for a month or so (medical) my nails were in bad shape. Peter to the rescue! He got my nails together! I went here today for the third time, and I was charged a different price. I received a refill, one mail was lifting so it was taken off by the male nail tech Peter, and an overlay was placed on my nail, I had 2 nails designed and my total was $58. Last month I went and had a refill, and 2 nails designed and was charged $48. I was reminded to use cash for a punch card to get so many punches to get $25 off. Y first time visiting in February, I paid $48 for a polish change and 2 designs on my nails, and $40 for a pedicure. I don't know what their prices are, and why I'm always charged different prices. My nails are short. Although everyone is very nice, I feel like I'm being taken advantage of, and overcharged, and for that reason I cannot go there anymore. read more

Omg my nails are so ugly! I got a pedicure and she did a horrible job. Didn't even polish my toes completely. It was just a horrible 93$ experience. Going to my cousins engagement party and have to find closer toe shoes. I can't believe this place is still opened honestly. Literally the worst pedicure I've had in my entire life. They were able to fit us in pretty quickly which was nice. They barely cleaned our nails. They didn't use anything to scrub or cut the dead skin off of our feet besides this small pumis that looked like it had been used a thousand times. She did it so soft and quickly. She barely did the exfoliant. And my "massage" lasted a whole 30 seconds on each foot. I'm still floored by the entire experience. The entire time they clearly were laughing and talking crap about us in their native language. They couldn't have made it more obvious. It was beyond uncomfortable. My step sister had to ask to have dirt taken out of her toe nail that wasn't taken out and her nails were crooked. Also they put the foam flip flops on me to let my nails dry, when I took them off I had dead skin left on the foam. Thats how crappy of a job they did removing the dead skin. Definitely not over exaggerating when I say the worst pedicure in my entire life. A complete waste of $30. read more

On Sunday 10/24/2021 I patronized this business and my experience was far from stellar. I wanted the $65 spa pedicure with 2 designs on my 2 big toes. Only 3 consumers were in the salon. The guy rudely stated that he doesn't have time to do me a nail art design. Therefore I switched to the $30 spa pedicure. The lady was almost finished with a pedicure and the guy walks over and attempts to play down his rudeness but the damage had already been done. I think that when he saw it was slow with customers, it made him rethink his rude decision. As I was waiting for my polish to dry, I witnessed the lady used the SAME nail instruments on the next consumer that she used on me. I was FURIOUS. Cross Contamination is what causes fungus and nail issues. I will definitely be notifying the health department. Also I noticed what appears to be mold/mildew in the corner of the ceiling. This salon need to be shut down and the owners heavily fined. read more

I absolutely love this Nail Salon. I tried 6 different nail shops when I first moved to Kenner till I found Model Nails and I couldn't be happier. They do an amazing job and the staff is wonderful. Horrible! It took me more than two hours to get my nails done! There was a younger guy who started my nails and to apply the acrylic took him hour. He looked like he didn't have the slightest idea of what he was doing. Then he filed the sides of my nails and made them way too slim so they looked weird. I asked someone else to fix what he'd done and she rushed to do it and gave me a shoddy polishing job. I would NEVER go back here! read more
