Even in February, the beauty and atmosphere were undeniable. Although we were unsure after reading some mixed reviews, booking Liberty View Farm was the best decision we made. Billiam and "Magic" Kathy have decades of experience, and we were comfortable trusting their guidance on timing, seating, and photos. It also made planning so much easier that things like bathrooms, linens, chairs, and tables were already included and we didn't have to get separate vendors. The day itself was seamless and full of thoughtful touches. One of the most meaningful was how Billiam and Kathy cared for my father, who is ill with cancer. They made sure he was comfortable, driving him back to his lodgings when he grew tired and later bringing him cake. We were floored by their kindness. The flowers were also extraordinary. Ivon is a true artist, and the lush tablescapes combined with antique china and linens created a timeless and unforgettable atmosphere. Many of our guests said it was the most beautiful and magical wedding they had ever attended, and I wholeheartedly agree. I walked through with the event person 2 weeks before and told her I wanted 5 tables of six. I also told her I'm working on weekends and can't be reached. She called me on the Saturday before my event to discuss pricing. Of course I didn't get her message until late. #3 Tables were set up 4 tables of 8 which messed up my seating plan. Dishes and glasses were dirty. I mean DIRTY with dried food, and sticky dirt on things. Embarrassing! #4 I was charged the highest price option and not told about a 3.00 per person non member fee. #5. No dedicated wait staff. The one waitress was responsible for my party, as well as the bar and pool area. She was great but not enough service for my party. #5 No organization in the parking lot. Nasty members yelled at guests for parking in "wrong" areas. One man actually cursed and followed my nieces to the building.

The quality of these two products is basically unavailable elsewhere. The hot dogs are from grass fed beef and produced without nitrates. Out of this world flavor. The bacon? With Kiernan Farm bacon, there was so little grease I almost didn't have to wash the baking sheet. Crisp and delicious. I know die hard beef people claim grass-fed beef is inferior in taste but having just wolfed down a burger made from their spectacular ground beef, I have no nostalgia whatsoever for the supermarket patties of my youth. No flavor whatsoever is compromised; it's simply a matter of knowing how to cook it. (In a nutshell-- don't overcook it.)
