I didn't get to take pictures inside due to the crowd of people waiting for tattoos. But it's a fun western/saloon vibes with custom saloon doors leading back to the tattoo stations. Our artist Tyler was great, he prepped everything & cleaned off the table before tattooing. His station was clean & we felt very comfortable. Definitely a shop with friendly & courteous staff & just a chill spot above the Hobby Station store. We are planning to make appointments in the future for some other pieces.

I said ok even tho it seemed rather strange I drive over 100 miles from where I was staying just to make an appt. But I was told Trey was the best! I arrived with my daughter whom also wanted a tattoo and we spoke directly to Trey whom said ok leave your number and I'll see what day we can do the tattoos I have to check my book. He was in the middle of doing a tattoo. He said I promise to call you back today and set it up....that was three weeks ago. I have ALLOT of money and was willing to fly back whenever he said he could do it but clearly he doesn't have the respect to even call and say no or I'm too busy or whatever instead he lost two great customers, gets a shitty review and no further referrals from us. I have one hell of a large family whom all would have came to him. The thing that bothers me the most is shitty customer service! I don't give him one star! With this lousy customer service I don't get how he possibly could be booked up??? In California we don't roll like this, we show RESPECT! We know how to use a telephone and make an appointment. If we ever said you have to come in we would never have a business last long! I'm glad I didn't let him tat me up, it more than likely would have been as crappy as his business!

This was the worst experience I've ever seen. The piercer completely screwed up my friends piercing…read moreand went straight through cartilage in her septum. The needle got halfway through and Stopped, she decided then that it would be a good idea to just shove it the rest of the way through. She didn't check for a sweet spot and afterwards, gave 0 aftercare instruction. she was also training another women and I can only imagine how terrible she will end up after being trained by someone who does a half ass job. I'm expecting a refund or at least another piercer to try and fix this mistake. I DO NOT recommend these people for neither a tattoo or piercing. Go somewhere else, it's not worth the terrible unprofessionalism and it truly is overall a terrible experience.

This Girl started to use a fake nail at the corner of my nail to TEAR off the gel. What?!!! Absolutely painful and horrifying. I originally had a full set, and instead of soaking and filing, the tech tried to RIP it off raw. I told her it hurts and requested soaking off. She said "okay that will be 30min". She moved me to a different spot then started servicing a different customer. After 20min soak off, I told her my finger went NUMB due to the coldness of the Acetone, and asked to get filed off the rest. She told me she WILL NOT do that because she won't go back and forth with her current customer. I then asked for another tech to help out. She got ANNOYED and started speaking in her primary language to have someone else come file for me. Then they leave me waiting for ANOTHER HOUR just because they chose to service other people behind me AND keep on PASSING me on also JUDY. So I came and waited 2hours and 30 minutes just for a 2-minute nail fix.

Then, I got another text on Saturday at 1:10 pm saying "Linda is free now, can u come in early" so I was there at 1:40 and she started my pedi immediately. The salon is very cozy with 2 chairs for pedicures and 3 nail stations for manicures. There were 2 ladies and a man working there. Linda was amazing. She listened to my requests and did what I asked for. She was also very gentle and her massages were worth every penny. The chair massage was very good too. 1.5 hour and $93 ($3 credit card fee) later, I was on my way. Traveling the country, I've had better and worse pedis and manis... this nail shop's customer service and gel mani/pedi price deserve the 5 stars. I don't think I'll be back to this area any time soon, but highly recommend this nail salon.

She spent a good amount of time getting my nails to look spectacular & showed where to pick out the color. She massaged my hands & lotion up my hands/arms, I specifically asked for gel nail polish knowing the additional cost. If you don't want to pay for gel or dip, please let them know ahead of time. After my nails dried & set, I was off to the pedicure chair, the gentleman was already set up for me with the gel color to match my hands. Once again, I asked for gel color polish knowing it was an extra cost. He didn't rush, when I was taking off my shoes, super nice and friendly the entire time. He gave me the pedicure menu for me to choose which package I wanted & the timeframes for each one, since I had nowhere to go & was being treated for my birthday, I went for the deluxe package which is a pedicure with a sugar scrub, massage and hot towel wrap on my lower leg. It was heavenly for the 45-60 mins.. I'm not going to lie I lost track of time while I was there, but didn't not care since it was me time. Hands down the best tattoo shop I've ever been to. Josh is an awesome tattoo artist! I highly recommend him. He goes above and beyond for all of his clients. He did a memorial tattoo for myself and my mother and I honestly could not have had a better experience. You can tell its more than just a job for him. The shop is super nice and clean and just all around a very relaxing environment. Josh is super chill and easy to talk to very accommodating. I once heard an intelligent person say, "If you just want a tattoo you can go anywhere, but if you want a good tattoo you go to Josh at Modern Age." That person was absolute right! I needed a coverup, and I brought a friend for a new tattoo. His artwork is amazing. As a nurse, some tattoo shops make me leery of their services. I first contacted Josh needing a coverup. I was devastated with what I had previously gotten at another local tattoo shop and a friend recommended him. He went above and beyond to say the least!! Once that one was done I had a vision of another that hadn't been done before. He worked with me and made it a reality. Everyone I show now are in complete awe and LOVE it. I have been going here for close to three years now. Got two new tattoos and one 8 hour cover up. The staff is as friendly as it gets and goes out of their way to help you out. I have Joshua as my artist and he is just that, an artist. His work is on par with anyone in Kentucky in my opinion. Both me and my wife have gotten multiple tattoos from Josh Mason at Modern Age Tattoo. He has covered up some bad young age decision tats I had and did an incredible job on all of them. He did mine and my wife's matching wedding tattoos and her half sleeve that covered a bunch of scars.
