The Positives: The initial process was seamless. As soon as I put my details on the website, I received a fast response with a PDF outlining various options. The sales rep, Ryan, was very friendly and did a great job explaining the PPF options for my new 2026 Ram 1500 Rebel. He connected me with the manager, Luis, who was also incredible. Luis invited me to the shop, walked me through the packages (PPF, ceramic coating, and tint), and even helped me upgrade from a 1-year to a 4-year ceramic coating for a fair price. The Issues & Communication: The frustration began with communication. I wasn't told upfront that I needed to return for a one-week inspection, nor was I told about the $150 annual inspection fee. While I'm happy to invest in the maintenance, I would have preferred transparency from the start. On pick-up day, I ended up waiting in the office for an hour and a half because they were running late, but I never received a call or heads-up from Luis. Quality Control Concerns: The most alarming part was the ceramic coating. After picking up the truck, I noticed it didn't seem to have the hydrophobic properties of a coating. When I brought it back, I was told the technician had applied the incorrect product. Had I not advocated for myself and questioned the work, I would have paid for a premium service that was never actually applied to my truck. It's hard to trust the competence of a shop when you have to wonder if the 4-year protection you paid for is actually on the vehicle. The Window Tint: I cannot recommend this shop for tint. * Windshield: They attempted the tint four times, and it still had scratches. I eventually had to request a refund because I couldn't keep wasting time. * Moonroof: They didn't install the 5% tint which I notice and informed Luis. It required a complete re-do. Final Thoughts: To his credit, Luis tried his very best to make things right. He even sent an installer to my house to try and fix the windshield. However, as a client, I shouldn't have to fight this hard to get the service I paid for. I recently had a friend looking for ceramic coating and I recommended they go elsewhere. Advice to others: If you use this shop, double-check every inch of their work to ensure you're actually getting what you paid for.

A Car Wrap That Takes Me Back to the 80s!…read more I had an absolutely fantastic experience at Allset Auto! The staff was incredibly friendly and helpful from the moment I walked in. They provided a detailed quote and explained the different price ranges based on material and quality. I decided to go with a higher-end material that came with a 10-year warranty, and I was thrilled to get $1000 off with a promo they were running. They have an amazing selection of colors and finishes--everything from matte and glossy to metallic, transitional, and more. As a kid of the '80s, I went in thinking I'd just get a metallic glitter shine. I never expected to fall in love with a multi-color transition metallic wrap! It truly takes me back to my youth. Depending on the lighting, the car can look purple, blue, green, or even turquoise. I've already received so many compliments! They had my car for about 10 days, so it's a good idea to get a quote and plan ahead. The only thing I wish I had known beforehand is that it's strongly recommended to hand wash your wrapped car. The high-pressure water at automatic car washes can damage the wrap, especially along the edges. No more Quick Quack for me! That said, I've run it through a touchless wash, and it was an easy, spotless dry. It still gets a bit dusty, but it's very easy to wipe clean. Overall, I'm extremely satisfied with the work. They also did a great job on black mettalic chroming and the Mercedes emblem. If you're looking for quality work, check them out! Tell them you saw this review and ask for Luis to get a discount. My experience at Cali Tints was profoundly negative, and I am shocked that this business has any…read morepositive reviews at all given the attitude of the owner and the poor work that they charged us $350 for. Upon getting my car back from Cali Tints, I realized that there was debris and bubbles in nearly every single window that they tinted. Before getting my windows tinted, I had gotten my passenger side door replaced, and told Cali Tints this. I understand that the car had overspray from the paint on that window that they did not see before they added the tint, but they blamed the overspray for every bubble and all debris on all windows of the car, beyond what was physically possible. They did not clean the windows beforehand, or explain that extra work was needed to prep the car for tinting which we would have gladly done prior or paid extra for them to do it. Instead, they gave us the car back in knowingly bad shape. When my husband called, they told us to come by during the weekend and they would look at our concerns. We showed up and waited over an hour for them, but later were told that they had some other thing they had to attend to, so to come by on Monday instead. We showed up on Monday at the time they opened, but nobody was there. Again we waited over an hour for someone to show up, and we left the car there and decided to come back later to see if they did eventually open. We came back later that day and spoke to someone who worked there, who inspected the vehicle and assured us that everything was under full warranty and they would fix it, not just on the window with the over spray, but with all the windows that had bubbling, debris, and peeling on the sides from poor application. We agreed to come back on Tuesday and they would fix it. They also agreed to actually detail the interior that we paid $100 for. They had left soda spills and grime all over the center console the first time around and did nothing more than vaccuum the floor mats and wipe down the seats. For 100 DOLLARS. They didnt even vaccum under or between the seats. Again, they assured us they would fix this on Tuesday. On Tuesday, we came and left the car with them, only about 2 hours later when my Husband called to check on the progress, the owner of Cali Tints was extremely rude and unprofessional, asking why my car was back on his property and that he didn't intend on fixing anything. The owner said when he showed up, his workers were washing the outside of the car and he did not know why they were working on my car again at all. He told my husband he would give him a partial refund. My husband insisted we just wanted the job done well and would pay extra for that if it was needed, but we should at least have been communicated with prior. Instead, the owner was extremely aggressive and told him that he would jist remove the tints and give my husband a full refund. When we arrived back at Cali Tints, my husband went to go try and deescalate the situation and see if they could clear up misunderstandings as we still wanted them to just fix their work. Cali Tints had already removed all the tints from my car except the back window when we showed up and they told my husband they would just refund his money (full refund) so they didnt have to deal with us anymore. I promise we were perfectly polite and only reacted in the way any customer would react seeing the work they charged for, and we were met with conflicting information, aggression, and extremely poor customer service. We waited over a week to see the refund, then my husband reported the charges to his credit card company since it was clear Cali Tints actually had zero intention of refunding our money despite the awful job they had done, and despite taking off the tints we had paid for without our consent and prior permission. He still has not seen any refund and the credit card chargeback had also not gone through. We have not received any refund nor any further apology or explanation. This is the worst service I have ever experienced and would not recommend this SCAM company to anyone.
