Began to wonder what was going on when I wasn't getting any communication, except for some questions - half of which had answers pretty clearly covered in the paperwork I had provided. Long story short, 5 weeks later when I heard yet another odd excuse why things weren't moving along I decided I better bail and find someone new. Got a new recommendation from a colleague. New CPA had my returns done and filed 4 days after our first meeting with just a couple (relevant) questions. When I went in for signing he said "I wish all my clients were this prepared." The friend who originally referred me to Mr. Borawski has now switched over to the 2nd guy too. Anyway, glad things are working out for some others but I wish I hadn't wasted my time.

Pretty good accountant with reasonable rates…read more While I don't particularly love the location- the office is in the funky Grand Mall in Grand Blanc- the important things here with an accountant are competency, trustworthiness and decent rates. I'm pleased (so far) with his services. He's done a good job on our taxes now for two years straight after I found him through a recommendation after I bailed on my longtime CPA in Flushing because they fouled up a tax return. Mr. Kubik managed to undo the damage done by my former CPA, and didn't charge me more for the snafu. While the cost of different tax returns will vary, our taxes cost about $150- not too bad.
