I get my CT scan and take it to the Orthopedic who says you need an MRI, I can't see your disc. Why did you get a CT scan instead of an MRI??? This has cost me hundreds of dollars and hours lost because this creepy fucking idiot is not qualified. I will be demanding reimbursement and to speak with upper management regarding the issue. Our shot nurse, Jill, provides us with our shots weekly and is truly incredible. She takes our health and her job seriously, by confirming any previous reactions, ensuring we have had our antihistamine and have our emergency epipens. As a busy adult, I appreciate this reminder seeing as at the end of the day reactions CAN happen and by her friendly check-in's it allows us to be prepared for a reaction IN office but more importantly an unexpected reaction once off the premise. I always feel like the best review or compliment is a referral and we have actually just changed our children from their pediatric allergist to MAAC also. Their patience and understanding with our littles gives me even more reason to rave about this staff. We literally trust them with our lives. The doctor was very friendly and let me know that if I ever need an appointment and a time isn't listed on Zocdoc, I can just call and they can fit me in. This practice seems to really care about their patients. When you're sick and just want to get back home to bed, that's incredibly frustrating. I was also told that the cost of my visit would apply toward my insurance deductible. However, my insurance was never billed. I've tried calling multiple times and have even stopped by during their posted business hours, but I haven't been able to reach anyone or get this resolved. Based on my experience, I would not recommend this facility. The lack of professionalism, poor communication, and inability to resolve a straightforward billing issue left me with little confidence in how the office is run.
