The furniture prices are generally reasonable; however, you should definitely try to strike a deal, especially when buying multiple pieces at once. The furniture itself is mostly in great condition. The majority of it comes from hotels and BnB's that are getting rid of furniture for whatever reason. There is always a good variety to select from, and extra stock upstairs as well. I bought my entire living room and kitchen here. My only complaint is that they don't have their own delivery service, but they do have a guy that they recommend, who was willing to come same day. His minimum is $40, and coordinating with him can he a little tricky, but he's very friendly and definitely willing to accommodate.

I called to tell them what happened and the woman who answered the phone was very concerned. She said she would have someone call me back. No one returned my call. At St. Germain's they will treat you right and the quality does exceed the price. They treat you like family in that naturally Nawlins' way. Pat, was really friendly, helpful and direct without being pushy or hovering. They were readily available to answer questions but let me wander and explore the furniture and they have plenty. For a local discount shop, I was surprised by the variety, prices and the quality. I wasn't expecting much. After shopping at about 15 furniture shops, local, national and online, they really had the best dining set I could have hoped for. It looks way more expensive than it was. Delivery was also fast and easy. I purchased monday and they delivered uptown to me Wednesday morning. By far, they had the best delivery/setup options of the places I shopped. My delivery guy, Gerald, was friendly, efficient and even helped me move my old dining set a few streets over to my family's house after the set up. They were careful with every move. I'll be shopping there again.

The owner was personable and likes to give proper attention to his customers. He will say hello as you walk in but finish with the person he is currently talking to before he talks to you. This can be an issue when there are multiple customers. I think we waited a solid 20 min before he talked to us. I already knew what I wanted but he gave us the spiel and then some. He said it would take 4 weeks and everything was American made but it had to come from the warehouse in Houston (or Chicago?) ....unfortunately it took almost 10 weeks. At week 6 I called and he said it would be another week. When I didn't hear from him again after 2 weeks I called and he said it would (again) be another week. Apparently there was a delay in the shipment from overseas. When I mentioned I thought everything was USA made, he said the wood comes from Malaysia (turns out the entire frame is made in Malaysia with multiple stickers on the box and parts) When we picked it up he did offer to have some pillows shipped directly to me for my inconvenience. I really felt he could have kept me informed a bit more about the status of my order without me calling. I was able to fit the full size frame and mattress in my mini which was a plus! Once I got it home it was about an hour to put together with 2 people.
