The treatment room space feels a little bit sacred. I've been getting 90 minute massages. My therapist always talks with me before actually starting, asking about the areas where I've needed extra work previously as well as recent changes she takes into consideration, and she remembers my history. She's always adapting to my needs for more or less pressure, spots to concentrate on, spots to avoid, and trying new techniques when appropriate. She shows genuine interest and motivation to grow professionally as a massage therapist. We think through how it all evolves for me. I've usually gone about once per month but also around physically challenging events, for example in preparing for a 20 mile hike. I'm so happy with them I drive an hour to get there from home.

All good and liked the masseuse I had, but this time no one had heard of her. Very strange... don't know what precisely is going on here, but could be something outside of the massages. New girl is S. Korean and did very well, but could not navigate English at all to any reasonable degree. It's worth a try, but be prepared.
