I've been getting my nails done at this same length with designs for the past five years and have never had this issue. Personally, this place just isn't for me, especially for the price.

Unfortunately, the experience was extremely disappointing. From the moment we arrived, the staff was unfriendly. Unlike other patrons, we were never offered beverages. My daughters' pedicure lasted no more than 15 minutes and this was her very first actual pedicure. The polish had to be redone twice because it was clumpy and poorly applied and honestly, it looked as though a child had done it. The "foot massage" I received was not a massage at all, even after I specifically asked if she could actually massage my feet. When the service was finished, my feet looked no different than when I walked in. What upset me most was how my 3-year-old was treated. The nail tech who assisted her was mean and visibly impatient. It reached a point where my daughter asked to go home because she was sad. She is accustomed to getting her nails done, this was something she often did with my mom, so this experience was especially heartbreaking. This was our first time at this salon, and it will absolutely be our last. What was meant to be a relaxing and healing day turned into an unnecessary expensive, stressful and upsetting experience. The pedicures are really great here they have little sanders to buff off excess dead skin on your heels! I love it and leaves them feeling extra smooth. They always have good movies playing in the TVs which I enjoy a lot so you don't feel awkward if you don't want to talk you can just watch the movie! Another thing to note is I am a larger lady and they have these black foam holders when getting a pedicure so you don't have to hold your leg up for a long time and ache. I also religiously get my eyebrows waxed here! They are the best and I don't trust my eyebrows with just anyone! I love this salons homey atmosphere and I am happy to continue to go there.

However, I tried Meri last month and was okay with the outcome. So, last Saturday was my second visit. The atmosphere was about the same, greeted and assisted as soon as I enter but as this was the Saturday after the 4th there was a crowd. I was greeted and my appointment was scheduled. I requested Tweet because that's who I had on my first visit and the results were wonderful. As the establishment was busy, the receptionist didn't convey my request for a certain technician and I received my services from Victor. Everything was great until it was time to polish. I opted for regular on this section as I'm trying to determine if consecutive gel polish may be damaging my nail bed. My big toe on both feet was horrible. Now, Victor did do a bad job on the pedicure and all those steps but when he painted my toe nails (big toe only) it was thick and cakey looking. I couldn't get his attention before he was on to the next do another technician assured me she would fix it. She did, but I think I'll just do my own pedicure for a while until I find a location that provides the type of services I'm use to receiving.
