My nails were looking pretty bad after leaving them to grow out for about 4 weeks. I went to Glamor Nails for that set and didn't have a great experience there. Some of my coworkers suggested Modern Nails so I thought I'd give it a try. I ended up walking in vs. having an appointment. One drawback was that they seemed to have phone connectivity issues; I called a few times (from my cell and office phone to make sure it wasn't on my end) and every time it would ring once, click, pause, and then end the call. I saw they were accepting walk-ins so I wasn't too upset about it. I went in about 4:30 and only one other person was there with 2 people working. Anna did my set and I couldn't be happier with how it turned out! I don't typically go for brighter colors but I really liked this one and Anna did a great job. Definitely making this my go-to nail place. I'm not sure if the owners look at these reviews, but I would recommend that they allow for FB messaging or messaging through Yelp just in case phone issues happen frequently. read more

Pedicure and manicure on July 14th for a vacation. July 15th after getting out of the shower, I see 8 of my 10 nails on my hand are chipping massively. Took photos.. Went back 5 days later for a credit showing the owner pictures. No credit and no guarantee given...needless to say, she will never see me again. Horrible!! read more

Strange from the beginning they only take appointments. Sooo..I had an appointment and they acted like I didn't but there was no one there, and only two people working. They talked among themselves who was going to work on me ..I want just a gel polish manicure. It was not your typical gel that I ever had. However, when I left, I was happy enough with it l had polished nails right!?!?! Well then a few days later I had a nail began to peel then another one then another one and my own nails went with the polish. My nails are brittle broken and horrible. I've been wearing gel nail polish for almost a year now, and this is never happened to me, but I had a gift certificate and the Only reason I went was because someone purchased a gift certificate for me and I thought it might be a nice change of pace. It was odd quiet , seems very clean BUT unfortunately the manicure was less than impressive and they charged me $45! I've never paid more than $30 and, the prices were not up ( think that's illegal) so I did not know what they were. I think they made it up. As they discussed among themselves, this is an Asian salon so obviously, I had no clue what they were saying as it wasn't in English. I can say I will never be back.! read more
