I understand that when people are unhappy or stressed they tend to focus on all the negativity and you do not have an accurate account of our interaction with her. We had 1 stylist available on this holiday weekend to do hair ONLY. (The rest of us were booked because other brides called further in advance for a holiday weekend wedding) That was made very clear to her from the start. We told her WE would try to find a makeup artist for her, even went out of MY way to contact multiple people. Remember, this was a holiday weekend and I was having no luck. I gave her the names of other salons that might be able to accommodate her, as well as individual names. The stylist that was originally booked to do the hair did have a family issue. Her grandmother needed round the clock care due to an accident and her dementia. She passed away in this time period. So you're accusation is NOT valid. You should never judge when you don't know the facts. I'm also sure that I did finally find a very qualified makeup artist that I sent to her after I learned that she had booked a hair stylist. I gave all her information to the girl and she was the new contact. I didn't even know this bride but went out of MY way..above and beyond to help her as much as possible. I guess in hind sight I should've just said NO, we can't do anything. We have an excellent reputation, especially when it comes to wedding parties and professionalism. Clearly your review won't affect that, but you should know the whole story if you're gonna take the time to post. By the way...I still have all the emails (10) from your friend (the bride) and she was more than thankful for my help from day one. We had a pretty early wedding (at 11am) and needed to get 8 of us through hair and makeup so we had to find a place that would start at 7am! Some sleuthing led us to Hair Etc (another option was Transfomations but they were a bit out of our price range) and we're so happy with the service we received. In my bridal party we had a number of girls waiver on the amount of services they wanted (mostly wanting to add makeup/upgrade to updos) and Bridget was wonderful about working with me to make sure we had enough stylists there to accommodate everyone. Bridget was responsible for both my updo and my sister's updo as my maid of honor. There were both awesome curly updos just as we requested and we received many compliments throughout the day! They also withstood hours of dancing at the reception (and when I say dancing this includes lots of rocking to Springsteen). It may have taken 40 minutes to take my hair our, but it was totally worth it for a hairdo that could withstand over 12 hours of wedding festivities. In general my bridal party tends not to wear a lot of makeup, so we did need to request a more natural look for some of the bridesmaids and myself (the default was to a more heavily defined eye), but they were good at encouraging us to go a little further with the makeup (with the help of our photographer) and I was really happy with the results! They really let us take over the salon that morning, even setting up a table for us to have coffee and scones laid out for breakfast. Towards the end of our primping there were a few other customers, so it wasn't fully private, but they did make sure to have us completely done and out of there by 10am to head up to the chapel. I once spent $50 on a double French braid here, as a way to manage my hair on a camping trip. The stylist, for one, was miserable, like my request was a burden to her, and two, she didn't use any product. Not a single one. I had to take the braids out within an hour because they looked so bad. I ended up paying a random person on the street $10 to re-braid my hair with love light and product, and it was gorgeous.

This is just ridiculous: if I bought a Chanel handbag and found out it was a fake, I would have the right to return it. If I went to a pharmacy and the pharmacist had swapped out Tylenol for Advil, they would be horrified and apologetic. The owner broke multiple laws, including theft of intellectual property and false advertising. She is currently being investigated by the state and the owners of Emsculpt. I have friends who work in the aesthetics industry and they always say do your research before choosing a med spa. These machines can really hurt you and it's clear that Natalie does not care about safety or consumer satisfaction. She is a dangerous. and irresponsible liar. The salon is also dirty and dingy looking. (On a positive note, the technician Drea was great, professional, and friendly. I went to Bare Element for my first ever dermaplaning appointment and had a great experience. Before the procedure, I filled out a waiver that explained what dermaplaning was and possible side effects, and I appreciated that they were honest about what the procedure entailed. The procedure itself took about 20 minutes (estimate) and just felt like someone scratching my skin a bit. It's hard to explain, but it was never uncomfortable. First your skin is cleansed and a hot towel is applied to soften skin before the procedure. After, I had the choice of a Vitamin C, collagen, or moisturizing sheet mask (I went with collagen), which was left on for about another 20 minutes. Finally, serums and creams were applied. I had brought my own sunscreen, but if you don't have any they will also apply that for you. Overall my experience was great and I would definitely re-book for another dermaplaning appointment!

The receptionist booked me for Botox and took my cc info. When I went there for my appointment, the doctor said she doesn't have any Botox and only offer dysport or xeomin. These are cheaper alternatives to me and I didn't want them when I booked a Botox appointment. They seem to pull a bait and switch on customers when you are there and maybe some people are like well I am already here so I will just take the dysport or xeomin. The front desk woman said they basically promote as Botox because she assumed people are only familiar with that brand, only to inform you much later at your appointment that they don't even use Botox. This is very shady. I consider this a bad business and to avoid them at all costs! When it comes down to it, an injection place that doesn't offer the mainstay of Botox is very odd! So watch out friends! They will waste your time with frozen smiles on their faces, which in and of itself is very disturbing!
