I recently had my braces removed and am now transitioning to retainers, and I couldn't be happier with the results. My smile has completely transformed, and I finally feel confident showing it off. From the very beginning, the team has been exceptionally kind, professional, and supportive. Overall interior and ambience-excellent. Modern Orthodontics is definitely modern as it states in its business name. I walked in to a beautifully decorated waiting area with a flat screen t.v. and a separate child waiting area with t.v.'s as well. There is a row of patient chairs where procedures take place and each of the chairs have flat screens to keep patients entertained. I also liked the fact that there was a separate office for private consultations. Staff-Awesome Great first impression with Holly, receptionist. It's nice to walk into an office or anywhere and greeted with a smile and a nice attitude. Holly made me feel welcome and comfortable. Being 7 months pregnant at a ortho visit can be uncomfortable but Dr. Mollov and staff were very attentive and accomodating to my needs. This was highly important to me and was much impressed with the care they provided. Before the start of the procedure, Dr. Mollov expressed possible concerns for any orthodontist treatment and fully explained each type. I appreciate and expect to be made aware of any possible issues that could occur in the future, whether existent or non existent in my case. Procedure for bonding was a fairly quick and easy process and made sure I wasn't uncomfortable the whole way through. X-ray was taken, where they made sure I was fully covered, took several pictures, impressions, and at least the braces. MO was recommend to me through a Facebook group. I am SO glad I listened. I was able to get in for a consultation quickly, and my wait time was minimal. The staff were professional, kind, and created such a comfortable atmosphere. This place is absolutely living up to the name as there is so much technology from a gaming system section, to iPads in the waiting area and mounted TVs with Netflix on the walls. Andrea assisted Dr.M in our consultation and was wonderful and personal-able. I went in with many concerns about possible treatment options for orthodontic relapse, basically my teeth have moved and gaps are forming from not wearing a retainer the past few years. I had pictures and X-rays taken. Dr.M took his time and was attentive to my concerns and went through some options for me. He answered all my questions. I then spoke with Barbara (office manager) regarding Invisalign cost, and she was really great in explaining finance options. I had a permanent bottom retainer removed and was fitted for a new one as well as fitted for my Invisalign trays. They use a 3D scanner so it was easy. I have decided to pursue my needs with this office and am feeling certain I will continue to have a great experience! We started the great hunt for orthodontists when my husband decided he wanted to straighten out his smile. We visited several other offices in the area, and always left with a case of sticker shock or feeling underwhelmed with the treatment plan. Finally, a friend told us about Modern Orthodontist. Originally I wanted to stay closer to the Haymarket/Gainesville area, but decided to at least check out the consultation. I'm so glad I did! Dr.Mulov is top notch and the staff is always so accommodating. They are always able to fit us in last minute should we need to be seen. My husband is almost finished with his treatment plan and his smile looks amazing! The plan went longer than anticipated, but didn't cost us any extra. Dr. Mulov just wants his smile to be perfect. I was so impressed I signed a contract with my oldest daughter and she has been undergoing her treatment plan for about 6 months now. We plan to sign our youngest up when she is ready too. I made my first visit to Modern Orthodontics and it was such a great experience! Once you enter, the front desk greets you. Then, it wasn't too long till I got placed into a room to see Andrea who is one of the techs, who then took a few pictures and an X-ray of my teeth. After that, I got to meet Dr. Mollov, he then explained my treatment and told me what my options were. They really work with you to make it affordable! The whole process took about an hour. I chose to go with Invisalign and I can't wait to get started! Just from my experience, I totally recommend. 5 stars! Update: One week later and I've already received my trays! I am extremely pleased with the services provided by Dr. Mollov and his staff . I am a dental hygienist of 20 years and extremely picky about dentist that I see since I have an advantage on the in side scoop on most in the area. He is very knowledgable about the business of ortho and up to date on the latest technology and treatment options that are relevent for youth and adults today!! As it relates to his field. The other big thing that is extremely important to me besides competence is cleanliness . The office is very neat and clean and follows OSHA laws of sterilization to the T. WOW! Probably the best dental office I have ever walked in! From the first step you take, you are surrounded by a comfy yet very modern reception area equipped with multiple ipads for each seat and a separate all-around glass video game room for the kids! WHAT? I saw lots of customers, which is definitely a good sign - I figured they must be doing something right! The staff was great. From the friendly receptionist to the assistants. Dr. Mollov called me in right away and spent plenty of time going over my concerns. He and one of his assistant took plenty of high def photos and a pano x-ray, and then we sat down in a private room for a consultation. He went over the process and explained how everything works, what I needed and why I needed it. He used my actual photos on his computer which was very helpful as I am a visual person...I actually found it rather educational! Excellent Orthodontic Office - staff, expertise, flexibility! We had a great experience with Modern Orthodontist with my daughter, who just got her braces off, and with my second child who still has hers. We started with an expander to fix my daughter's jaw and an orthodontic appliance (tongue crib) to stop her from sucking on her finger - it worked immediately! Then we got the braces and went through a year of braces and now we are onto the retainer. The orthodontist is so awesome, he is knowledgeable, does great work, and is super personable. The office staff is amazing, from the front desk, where they are friendly, helpful, responsive to the back, where they do the work on the braces. Dr Mollov and his team are amazing. If you are considering orthodontic treatment for yourself or your kids, this practice is the way to go. Dr Mollov is the most compassionate and caring doctor I have ever had. He is extremely professional always patient and wants to know if you have any concerns at all. He explains your options and guides you through the process. His office staff are also wonderful. From the receptionists to the dental assistants everyone is really friendly and helpful. Today is a happy day in our home! Our youngest daughter's braces were removed and she is ALL smiles :-) Dr. Mollov and his staff were wonderful during the entire process. The one thing I mostly appreciate is his timeliness (aside from the wonderful staff, care and professionalism). As a busy working mother I appreciate never being made to wait (the max in the last two years was maybe 15 min a couple of times). Dr. Mollov is excellent! I have an implant on of my molars and I was told I couldn't do anything to correct my smile. Dr. Mollov discussed a solution for me using Invisalign. He made it clear that we can not move the implant but that there is a way to make my bite comfortable for me eat and sleep by closing some spaces and using rubber bands. This process was so quick and easy yet I didn't feel rushed. He made sure to answer all my questions. He showed me pictures of my teeth and my Invisalign time lapse. From the moment I walked in the super clean and tidy office, I was greeted by the ever-smiling receptionist, Holly. She made me feel very welcome and comfortable. While I waited, I played their AWESOME videogame systems. When Geegee, one of Dr. Mallov's assistants, came to take me back to have my braces adjusted, she immediately asked me how I was doing and complemented me on my braces. I would like to thank Modern Orthodontics for willing to work with me as a self pay patient when insurance was not willing to cover for my daughter braces. They were able to set payment plans that worked for me. Any emergency my daughter had such as sore gums, broken braces, jaw pain, broken retainers, etc they were quick to assist. My son had to get braces when he was 9 and we found Modern Orthodontics to be an amazing fit for us. The staff has all be very friendly and Dr. Mallov has been great with my son and is very informative as to what is going on during the entire process. We got fitted for his retainer just recently and my son said it's hurting him so I called to see if we can get a different type and they were more the willing to let us come back and get him something more comfortable.
