There was another occasion where I got some work done and contacted my dental insurance and spoke with a representative after, just because I kept getting hit will all these outstanding bills during a certain time frame and the UHC representative informed me that Neal Dental forgot to inform me that their office did not renew for my specific network (UHC) meaning they are not in network with UHC until they decide to renew it so I was an out of pocket patient for that service I got done at that time even though I was previously in their network and they were late on renewing for certain providers. You would think the Front Desk would inform you on their delay in renewing with some networks especially while I was checking in for that appointment and when I confirmed my dental insurance information (which was still the same - UHC) I thought this was standard protocol.. There were too many cases to where the communication was not there, which is super important especially for building a clients trust. Do not recommend..

I recently visited Bristow Fountain Dentistry for a surgical procedure for my son's impacted…read moretooth, and unfortunately, my experience was far from satisfactory. While the procedure appears to have went well, the lack of clear communication regarding costs left me feeling frustrated and misled. When I first scheduled the appointment, I was provide with a cost estimate that we agreed to and I paid the $100 deposit to book the appointment. I agreed to and expected a consultation and the removal of a baby canine tooth that required a chain to be attached to an impacted adult canine. We decided to use a combination of numbing injection and laughing gas. The original out of pocket cost was expected to be about $260 after insurance. Upon arriving, my wife and son were informed that the laughing gas was not available and he would have to be fully sedated now bringing the out of pocket cost to $980! They did not call to inform us of this change and waited until my son was in the office and ready for the procedure after fasting all night and nervously awaiting the procedure. Fortunately we were in a position to pay the additional cost, but we felt very misled and almost as if they were not being honest as my wife got one explanation and I got another as to why the gas was not available. The tactic seemed very predatory in nature and appeared to be an up-charge money grab. I feel very bad for someone who is not in a position to pay and was presented with this nonsense. I was not present initially, but my wife felt pressured to make decisions about treatments on the spot without a courtesy call to inform us of the issue prior to arriving. Ultimately, we left the office with a significantly higher bill than we had anticipated, and I felt that the office was more focused on upselling services rather than providing transparent and honest care. I would encourage potential patients to be aware of this tactic and be sure to ask detailed questions before agreeing to any treatments. Unfortunately, I cannot recommend Bristow Fountain Dentistry based on my experience.

I have since received another bill that I responded to with a letter to the owner and office manager, that has yet to be responded too. I do not recommend this office for any services.

Very unusual and suspicious, and annoying since I had an appointment scheduled for next Monday. Looks like I'll be looking for a new dentist. :-/

He pointed to a well positioned poster on the wall advertising the service and medication. The staff then began negotiating treatment with me while in the chair. They explained that Dr. Stubblefield was offering new patients "gift cards" for the treatment if they agreed to return quarterly for the same treatment. The treatment is of course outside of insurance! I smelled something fishy! I then went to another dentist to be examined. That dentist advised me that I did not have periodontal disease, but rather pretty healthy teeth! Some dentists have shrunk to the practice of unnecessary treatments to boost their bottom line. It's not illegal, just not exactly ethical!

It had been a very long time since I went to the dentist and my first visit was only $99 for a new patient special, which included a lot of services along with a cleaning. They take great images of your teeth so you can see what they see. I came back for one of my fillings and left even more impressed. Drilling and fixing a tooth in the very back of my mouth was in no way comfortable, but it was done efficiently and with care. I really said to myself, every penny is worth having this woman as my dentist. Her credentials speak for themselves, but having a great personality and wonderful staff to back her up... I'm incredibly happy. Not to mention... snacks, coffee and tea, up to date magazines and tv in the waiting room make it that much more comfortable.
