I can't say enough about Leena and the amazing team at Modern Tailoring! For my wedding, I had a vision for the perfect dress--something I completely made up in my head. Leena sketched it out and brought it to life from scratch without even using a pattern. It turned out exactly how I dreamed. The creativity doesn't stop there--the owner's sister recreated a jumpsuit for me, transforming it into a totally unique, one-of-a-kind piece. I can't tell you how many compliments I received! She also redesigned my daughters' dresses, and they fit them perfectly. The skill, care, and attention to detail from everyone at Modern Tailoring are unmatched. From simple hems to a complicated dress idea in my head, they're the best. I will never go anywhere else! While this was my first time working with Leena, I've been coming to Modern Tailoring for over 10 years and have always had the best experiences. I'm shocked in how amazing this business is! If your looking for someone to create a dress/fix or alter clothing then this is the best place. I came here 2 weeks ago with only an idea drawn on a notepad of what I wanted my Halloween costume/dress to look like and they completely nailed it. Two weeks later I picked up my custom dress and it was beautiful. It's everything I wanted and more and everything is fair priced! I will be back again, thank you!

I have lost 25 lbs since the first of the year. Suffice it to say, all my clothes were way too big for me now. I buy good quality clothing and could not afford to buy a completely new wardrobe. Because of the reviews on Yelp I decided to bring a few things to Modern Tailoring to see how good they really were. The first two dresses and two skirts came out perfect. They fit better then when I originally purchased them. And more importantly they weren't too tight! Something I don't like. Then I decided to bring in a couple more dresses that were lined and a couple pairs of my favorite boyfriend jeans. Again these items came out beautifully tailored. I would not hesitate to bring anything that needs to be tailored to these people . They are very very good at what they do! read more

My friend and I took our bridesmaids dresses there for alterations. I'm nervous when it comes to messing with important garments, but I was very pleased with how they turned out. Price and turnaround time was reasonable. The woman that does the alterations is so sweet and friendly! read more

This shop has affordable prices, it's clean, comfortable, fast, and has a great owner! I left my bridesmaid dress on Wednesday and they had it done by Friday. I did have some miscommunication on the shop hours so when I came to pick up my dress Saturday about 10 after 4pm, they were closed and wouldn't be open again until Monday. I needed my dress for the wedding on Sunday. I panicked but after leaving messages on anywhere I could, the owner contacted me and let me come pick up my dress! I'm not only grateful that he let me come pick up my dress while they were closed but also because they did an amazing job! My dress is perfect! I can't even begin to tell you how wonderful the people are at Modern Tailoring in Temecula. My daughter ordered her prom dress on line and when it came in, the bust and hip sizes were switched. (Did I mention the prom was only two days away?) Mary had my daughter sized and was working on the dress within an hour. 4 inches had to be taken out in the hip area and 4 inches had to be taken in for the bust. My daughter's prom dress was ready to go and fit perfectly the day of her prom. This is by far my favorite tailoring I've ever had done. I brought my wedding dress in a month ago and Mary made sure it would be done by this week. We had to add a bustle and she was so open with any type and made sure it would not ruin my dress on the big day. I highly recommend this place. Just amazing. read more

Amazing! He remembered us even though we had only been in once before. Wedding tux hemmed perfectly. Sign said 10 minute hem but he hemmed and ironed them in 5. Will be using this business exclusively in the future because he's reliable and affordable. read more

I brought my pants to be let out. We agreed the pants would be ready the following Tuesday. I ran to Target. When I returned to my car Gus flagged me and told me my pants were ready...he told me he saw I went shopping and he wanted the save me the return trip. WOW, now that is customer service...it doesn't get any better. read more

Absolutely fantastic! I'm in the military and came in on the recommendation of a coworker. I had Modern Tailoring alter my dress uniform coat and shirts and sew the various nametapes, rank, and badges on 4 new uniforms and 2 caps. Military regulations are very strict (down to the 1/8") on seams and placement and even though this is not a military sew shop the owner NAILED IT. He even asked the important questions before I needed to explain. The dress uniform alterations are where his work really shines. I had him take in the shirts to an extra trim "bespoke-level" fit and they are perfect. Lastly, on the coat, he lengthened the sleeves and therefore had to move all of the braiding and service stripes down as well. Pristine work. It's even an improvement over the original tailor. I paid a fair price for all of the work and picked it up on time as promised. It's clear that they take great pride in their work and want you to be satisfied. Highly recommended! read more

For the jeans, instead of being taken in through the back seam (as is standard for jean alterations), fabric was taken in on both sides. The stitching is very obvious, and there is a thick, bulky clump of folded fabric left inside each pair, which looks and feels uncomfortable and unprofessional. This is not how jeans are typically altered, especially at $25 per pair. I ended up having to spend more money and take them to another place that was willing to fix the mistake and alter them correctly. The dress was partially fixed, but an important detail was missed. I specifically asked for the back clasp/snaps at the top of the dress to be sewn back on, and that was completely forgotten. Overall, the workmanship did not match the price, and I felt like I wasted my money. I wouldn't return or recommend this service based on my experience.

After one of the most discouraging experiences dress shopping, I truly thought my dream of wearing something made from my mom's wedding dress was over. Another seamstress looked at me, looked at the dress, and bluntly told me there was "no touching this dress" and that I was "too big for it." I left devastated. On the drive home, my mom said, "Let's just try this place," and we walked into Modern Tailoring completely by chance. That moment felt like fate because that's when we met Mary. From the second I explained the story behind the dress, Mary didn't see problems -- she saw possibility. She completely fell in love with the project, with the meaning behind it, and honestly made me feel beautiful and worthy the entire process. She treated my mom's wedding dress with so much care and respect while somehow transforming it into the most stunning bridal shower dress I could have ever imagined. What Mary created was more than alterations. She recreated a memory, honored my mom, and gave me something deeply sentimental that I'll treasure forever. TASTE WITH GRACE CATERING Where do I begin to tell you how AMAZING TWG is. From the moment Michael and Sabina were engaged and we knew we wanted to have a reception on the West Coast for those who could not attend the wedding, we knew Cheryl and Sharon, along with the Taste With Grace team were the ones to make it happen. When TWG handles your event, you can sit back and relax. The attention Cheryl and Sharon give to EVERY detail is unbelievable. The food was absolutely great. The mashed potato martini bar was a hit, BBQ wings, macaroni & cheese, outstanding. Everyone wanted to take home jugs of her Peach Tea. Oh and don't let me forget the delectable Peach Cobbler with a heart pastry on each one. People raved about the food and the terrific service. The way her team treats your guest is second to none. I have experienced the exquisite services of TWG on several occasions and I will continue to have you cater any event I have to plan. We could not have done this without you and your team Cheryl. I am incredibly disappointed with the rude treatment I received. I called in with a positive attitude, ready to kindly explain what I needed help with, but I was abruptly hung up on while trying to communicate. This level of unprofessionalism is unacceptable, especially when a customer comes to you with the intent of doing business. Hanging up on customers not only shows a lack of respect but also ruins the experience and mood of those who genuinely want to work with you. I have taken multiple suits and pants here to get tailored over the past year. I am always blown away by their low prices and great handiwork. I have never been let down by their service. The moment I walk in the door Gus is there to greet me with a smile and expert tailoring. He's even fixed a ripped seam (I'm skinny and get a very slim fit) months after I got the suit. My daughter bought a prom dress that had to be shortened, have a corset back added, have sleeves added, and have the slit moved, as well as the lace covering it. Lina basically restructured this dress and she did an AMAZING job. My daughter is so excited to wear her, now one of a kind, dress for her senior prom and it's all thanks to Modern Tailoring and the wonderful Lina.
