(I think Yelp glitched out on my end & I accidentally deleted my review... so I am posting it again…read morewoops lol) Skip down to the starred (*) paragraph if you need a CliffsNote version of my rant/review... Saw that this agency had no reviews (and my review is not showing up on Google) so I will share my experience with SpeakEasy. Keep in mind, I've never written a genuine review before but what I experienced was so frustrating that I needed to. I reached out to this agency to get a diagnosis/testing for a mental health disorder back in May (this was the closest place I could find that had in-person meetings for this particular service, which I preferred). The person who responded confirmed that they did have therapists on site who could diagnose me. Before I even met anyone, I was having a difficult time. After she told me to give them a call, nobody would answer the phone and when I left multiple voicemails, I did not get a call back at all. Granted, I'm not sure if something happened, if there is an issue with their phones or my phone, or whatever else... this would need to be confirmed by other consumers who have tried contacting them (to clarify, I wanted to do a phone call bc I did not feel comfortable e-mailing my insurance info) I went online to see if I could call a different number and lo and behold, I finally got a hold of someone. I feel bad that I don't remember her name because she was very nice, but she was the one who ended up helping me get set up. She said I would be sent an e-mail... but I never got one. Oh, boy. Here we go again. I tried calling the agency again. Nothing. I tried calling the nice lady again. No answer. I ended up deciding to drive about 50 minutes just to be able to talk to someone in person and get all of this sorted because I'm too stubborn to walk away and go back to my search for a different agency (plus I wanted to visit H Mart in Cherry Hill so it was a good excuse lol). Chad was the one who helped me and he was a freaking godsend. Very, very nice and apologetic, and helped me get everything straightened out. I believe I did not receive an e-mail in the first place because it was spelled incorrectly... At this point, I'm relieved. Finally, I have an appointment! The day for me to meet my provider came and I told him what I'd told more than one person at the agency: I was looking for a diagnosis for a particular disorder. Then, he gave me crushing news: he does not do testing/diagnosis. Brother... what do you mean? How is it that I ask at the very beginning if it can be done at your agency and I'm told yes? Now I'm being told no? What the flip, man? Also, idk if it's just me but it felt like I was being invalidated in a way?... Objectively speaking, he most likely did not intend to do that and was only giving his professional opinion, but all I'm saying is that it felt like it (especially since that opinion was based on talking to me for like... half an hour). I then asked if he could refer me to anybody and I was just told the exact same thing everyone else has been telling me, and what I have BEEN doing. At this point, I was so done and tired, and I didn't even have a second appointment before I told him I no longer needed their services. Quite frankly, it was a big waste of my time and exhausting. Sure, I could have directly contacted them and told them about my frustrations, but for the sake of my sanity, I decided to just walk away... Well, write this review and then walk away. * For those of you who have short attention spans like me and need a CliffsNote version of this: 1. You might have trouble contacting them via phone 2. After telling me they DID provide a service I asked for prior to starting with them, they ended up telling me they actually DID NOT provide it during my first appointment (again, wtf) 3. The therapists are very, very nice, which is why I'm giving 3 stars instead of 2. I feel like they would be great for those who are looking for long-term therapy and not something short-term like me Just for reference, while it took weeks to even get an appointment with SpeakEasy, it took only a DAY for a different agency I reached out to, to set up an appointment, and was able to finish using their services within THREE APPOINTMENTS. Half an hour ago today I was given my diagnosis and I can now finally move forward with more confidence in my mental health journey. Straightforward, quick, and actually provided the service that they confirmed having. Thank you for coming to my TED Talk and reading my rant.

Tried this office on 2 separate occasions. All not good experiences…read more The first time was with Cassandra Grod, I called her after being promoted to do such through an email to set up an appointment. She didn't answer the first call& I hung up. Then deciding I should have left a message, I called back. No answer again, but then her VM was full. Months later still looking to work on myself I found Allison Rosevelt on psychology today. Coincidentally from the same office. First appointment there was a "miscommunication" and even though I had received my confirmation email stating suite number and all,& the appointment was not kept. We rescheduled on the phone for the following night. The next night when I went in there were 2 couples waiting to go back one for their first visit& the other for their 2nd appointment. Why were we so chatty you say.. because that's how long we were left to our own devices. Turned out both couples were there to see the same person& the 2nd appointment couple was rescheduled. For my next appointment, 20 minutes prior I received a text from Allison stating she had gotten a flat& asked if we could reschedule for the following week, I responded a friendly yes as it was days before the holiday. Followed with no response. It's quite clear this office does not have any the compassion that I'm looking for. Ok with giving 1 star as the office was close& cozy. Could use an office manager to actually run things.
