She's extremely knowledgeable and gave me all the information I needed during our phone consultation so that I was sure that I wanted to continue with the treatment. Even though she's got quite a long waitlist, I knew after our call that I wanted her to be my electrologist, no matter how long it took. When I finally came into the office for my appointment, she took her time to educate me on the hair cycle and why it can take multiple treatments to permanently remove the hair in any given area. Joy is an absolute professional. I had electrolysis for nearly a year with another service provider and saw very little improvement, more importantly I never felt anything during the treatments. I never actually felt any type of shock or pain, that should have been a red flag. I did not hold a wand & although I was quite consistent with weakly 1 hour treatments, the hair never seemed to change.
