An exterior door with two side lights, fiberglass with limited options was about $5,000 Our carpenter suggested that we swing by Cape Cod lumber. We talked with Eric. He knew what he was talking about. He has decades of experience and asked us what our "best case" door was. We gave him the particulars, he walked us through all of the options, until we had exactly what we wanted. Best part, it came in $1,100 less than HD & L. I thought it was going to be a higher price than the others. Highly recommend CCL & Eric, don't expect to pay more than the big stores. CCL has a great show room and vast experience with their team.

Someone took the time to label our cabinets as broken but never ordered new cabinets for us. Then the audacity to deliver broken cabinets to a customer's home? Apparently, we were expected to accept broken cabinets even though we paid for brand new cabinets? Multiple other drawers delivered to us were broken, then the replacement drawers delivered to us were the wrong color. It has taken about 3 months to finish installation because of all these errors. Please do yourself a favor and purchase kitchen cabinets elsewhere.

I went back and forth with Aras a few times as he and his staff helped me refine my design, and he was patient and great. My delivery came on time all the way to Brookline, for free, from two courteous deliverymen. The wood was even higher quality than I expected and was easy to work with. My project came out perfectly and my neighbors have been complimenting me on it. I really recommend these guys, especially for any custom design millwork.

I called mid-day and their salesman reassured me that it would most like come by 2:30 PM. I called again at 4:45 , he then said it is still out for delivery. My day and time was wasted. The next day they called at 7:30 AM and delivered it. The item was damaged and had pink round sticker identifying the spit wood. I had no idea what the stickers were for, now the driver was gone and it's the weekend and they aren't open. Update: Shortly after posting my review, Dan (Owner/manager) called me personally and talked to me about what had happened. Dan was very professional and wanted to get me a new item to replace the damaged one right away. Dan drove the new item to my home within an hour of our phone call. I want to thank Dan and Next Day Moulding for excellent customer service which allowed me to complete my project on time.

I decided to order a full truck load the third time, and they dropped off a 20 ton load of sand. I can only assume it's "infield mix" of some sort because it contained clay chunks. I would say the mix was about 20% clay and 80% sand. I called to inquire about the mix up and they sent someone to take a look. He basically told me that's what they had and didn't offer any sort of resolution. I'm very unhappy with the transaction and would've liked a refund, or at least a load of the soil I asked for. Clay is clay, sand is sand.

I originally wanted Trex cabinets, but the owner, David, talked me into a different brand. The drawers don't close all the way, so they stick out more than the cabinet door below. I was sorry I did not get the Trex. Then the kitchen faucet he recommended malfunctioned. He assured me that the LYNX company would send me a new one for free. Three months and many emails and phone calls later, I still don't have a faucet. I called LYNX directly, and they will gladly replace it as soon as I send proof of purchase. I asked Chatham Refinishing for a receipt that included the faucet, and I still haven't received it. This is the most frustrating company I have ever dealt with. Do not be fooled by the congenial demeanor of the owner, his mother, or anyone else there. It's a very expensive lesson to learn.

Fast forward over one year...they don't even return calls. Very frustrating. We had a contractor visit the store just to get some information so we could pursue this matter on our own and the owner made him wait an hour and then would not even come out to see him. Not nice people there. Extremely dishonest.
