Was a member since they opened this location. Convenient for me and okay as far as an automated wash goes. Out of the blue the assistant manager came up and told me I could not bring my vehicle through. No real explanation or warning, just that we are going to cancel your membership. When I asked for a refund they said they could not help and I had to call a number. When I called the number to get a refund of my membership they stated it had to be initiated by the staff at the location. Poor service, poor communication, and a mediocre wash. read more

I was visiting family in Largo from home in Venice and explained to the attendant that I just wanted to the car washed once. I did not want the monthly subscription plan and paid $21. The wash was ok, but the next month they charged my card again, this time $31. I've called to get the charge and subscription removed. Better check your credit card statement! read more

Hours are wrong!! Says open tile 8pm but was closed when I go there at 7pm! Genuinely not happy with the quality of the washes and that they have no staff around on top of not providing cleaner like woodys does. I'd rather wait at woodys and get a better wash with better amenities. read more

Well this place has definitely gone back up in its quality of service and all round value since taking over from Home Team and getting the new stuff in. Since last I was here with the Queen Bee, they've finished installing vacuum bays on both sides of the aisle. One extra special feature these guys added is actually two features. Each vacuum station contains two distinctly shaped vacuum heads. One is the standard looking sort while the other is a narrow elongated head. Much easier to reach into those corners, nooks and crannies with this setup! Parenthetically, it appears that they've since upped the suction power on said vacuums; much appreciated! Also, each vacuum station has an air hose to get rid of those pesky water droplets that the dryers don't quite hit. Then of course is the mat washer and dryer machine sitting near the office; I love that thing! One amenity I didn't see was the bottles of "blue stuff" for washing windows and those harder interior plastic surfaces. Rags were also running low on the rag carts too. I myself prefer the old buckets of wet/damp rags to the cart of dried out ones: can these people please rethink that??? They're also sufficiently well staffed now, it seems, to have attendants scurrying about with a supply of rags to help wipe down the exterior surfaces. The one fellow who I noticed was an older gent named Brett. Quick, full of energy and very friendly too! I can say the same about the guy at the pay station/entrance. This fellow was Jordan, also a slightly older gent who made it a breeze to get my membership squared away. Very smooth, simple process, and guess what? It's a better value than Bellair Road Carwash, whose services I bid a fine farewell. However with this new and improved version of the old Home Team: I don't think they'll fare well at all. HORRIBLE!!! AVOID LIKE THE PLAGUE, unless you like wasting money and still having to wash your vehicle yourself to get it clean. I just went there and got their "Top of the Line" Wash option that is regularly $30.00 for 1/2 price of $15.00. That does NOT include ANY INTERIOR of ANY kind; not even the inside of the windows. It did not even get one small bird poop off my truck's hood, the wheels were exactly the same as when they went through, the windshield required me to redo it at home. I live less than a mile, so I could go back and tell them, but my time is too valuable, esp on a Saturday. Letting others know via this review is a better use of time. Just glad it was only $15.00 and not $30.00 or I would have to go back...and that might not end well. MOD...YOU SUCK! read more

Bought a 3 month car wash from modwash for $19.99. Any car wash as often as you wanted for that 3 months . I was charged 4 times in that 3 month period. That was in march 2025 and in Saint Petersburg . Now arguing about the charges with them I guess and bank!!! Thank goodness I kept my receipt. I have read there reviews and I certainly agree with others. I have been robbed!!!! My suggestion is don't go there , you could save your money from overcharges!!!! read more

Car wash is just average. They don't post their phone number anywhere. I had to drive to ask the price of their single washes. I paid $12 for their basic wash and spent 15 minutes getting rid of the soap residue left on my car. Will not be back. read more

We've been a members of this Carwash since it was open and have been very happy. Today however, that all changed. Had an issue with my car having the Auto Hold on so the Neutral wasn't engaged for the track. Completely my fault...Going back and forth with the guy, not understanding what he was saying.... Figured it out, then out of nowhere one of their punk kid employees comes up to my window and tells me to calm down. When that didn't work for him, he told my "fat ass" to get out of the car. After I passed on his challenge and went through the carwash... My wife and I went into the office and complained. The kid comes in and lied about what was said, then threatened me again. Smart right?? When The assistant manager did nothing, we canceled our membership. I'm not going to pay for a service and get treated like that, PERIOD. I signed up for a one month membership while buying one car wash one day. They asked if I wanted to sign up for a month for just that $10 so I did. I was not told any terms and conditions and I did not physcially click anything to agree to it. I tried to go online to manage my membership last week and the website is very difficult to navigate. I just wanted to view when it will renew and for how much, and it kept making me do a process to set up an account which would lead to a page you couldn't do anything on. I tried finding where to cancel online and again, I didn't see anything. I ended up emailing them on Wednesday to cancel and heard nothing back. I got charged for it today. I called to explain that I sent a cancelation email but she said it has to be 3 days before (again, nothing I was notified of or agreed to) and she tried arguing with me that there was a cancellation spot on the website when I couldn't even see it when I was on the phone with her. She was extremely rude and argumentative. I want me refund. Again, I never physically or verbally agreed to the terms, and they make their website difficult to operate and to cancel. read more

As I have read below, I'm having the same problem trying to cancel my membership. When I agreed to the program, I was told it was for 1 month. I went to a text that was sent to me and completed the form and it told me I was registered. There is absolutely No Information on the receipt you get. I found a phone number online and the so called customer advocate, only she advocates for the company. She wouldnt let me talk to a manager and said go to the website to escalate this. I said what website. This company is a joke and very deceptive. Do not do business with Modwash. Buyer beware! read more

Do not go here if you care about your car's paint. Took our new car for its first car wash ever and it came out covered in swirled paint and micro scratches. Didn't even clean the car and costed $19. Still has bird poop and pollen on it in some spots. Better value and better quality going through a Circle K car wash. Won't be back. I don't care who manages it. read more

mod wash has amazing vacuums, super strong, clean better than any car wash I've used before. This is my first visit and I got a monthly membership. I had a membership when it was Home Team. Great value, decent wash, liked having towels to hand dry my car. Left the wash in August because it was starting to change to Modwash, and it was constantly closed. I cancelled my membership then. Fast forward to today, and I noticed Modwash sneakily started charging me $39.99 a month in December. I called the customer service number 727-228-0362, she couldn't locate my account with my card , and apparently couldn't search for my account with my name or tag number? So I go to the wash location to talk to someone-it is closed! So I go to the Pinellas Park location and Andy was able to find my account (why the lady on the phone couldn't, who knows), and initiate a refund. He was kind enough to tell me "well, you've been charged three times", implying that it's my fault I didn't notice the charges? The folks working on the ground were always fantastic. The wash was okay (always required a towel dry to get spots off). But today was outrageous. Implying it's my fault because I didn't notice the charges (all my subscriptions go to the same card), that somehow it's not theft?? If it's not refunded by the end of the week as Andy told me, there will be a complaint with the DBPR. I've so pissed from being stolen from and no apologies or explanation, other than "you should cancel your card" as the lady on the phone told me makes my blood boil. read more

Excellent service & wash.I signed up for the max plan & love it. I can go through as many times as I choose. I have a 2019 Grand Cherokee & it looks like new with the wax & tire shine. Everything is good no paint issues , decals are fine . Whatever car that guy claimed paint issues with - take it back to where you bought it. I was amazed by the awesome service by a man who was an attendant I believe his title was. He went over and above the call of duty. I mean he's missed his calling. But it appears he loves his job there. Watch out mod wash I might steal him. He definitely is what I need at my place of business. (Which I'm not going to mention). I use automatic car washes on a regular basis. This is hands down the worst one I've ever gone to and the most expensive. I didn't mind spending the extra money because I assumed it would at least be as good as the other ones that I've gone to. But it barely got my car cleaned. I had to get out and wipe stuff off with a baby wipe. I never leaves bad reviews, but I felt the need to warn people that this place is expensive and crappy. The vacuum cleaners barely pick anything up, the car wash does not do a good job. Does not matter if you have the best package (I always buy the best). I was so irritated with the quality. I am actually writing this while I am still at the car wash.!!! seriously a light rain storm, or a water gun would be just as effective. read more
