This company was contracted by Liberty Home Guard to fix my furnace. The owner came out and…read morereplaced a part and then tried to sell my daughter a service contract. Needless to say, the furnace was not fixed and so she called them back and was told he would be out the next day, Saturday, and see what was wrong. Long story short, that evening he told her he was too wrapped up in a house wiring project and wouldn't be able to make it. It was in the lower 50's at the time and expected to drop below freezing. At present, I have no confidence this person will fix the problem and have lodged a complaint with Liberty Home Guard about contracting with this person ever again.

They took about 2 1/2 hours and the main guy was on the phone the whole time! I made the mistake of not watching them, and when they were done, he said it was all done and I wrote him a check. He said he would send my receipt to my email. Well the next day, I ran a load of laundry and there was water on the floor, just like before. Also, it's now been 1 & 1/2 weeks later and he still won't come back and fix the washer. he hasn't sent me a receipt either. I have been hounding him by phone messages and texts, and have only talked to him twice. He makes statements claiming he'll get right back to me with a date and time, but then blows me off! I don't think it's fair to keep on starting new jobs, when you haven't finished the one you said you fixed!!! I have now been without my washer for 3 &1/2 weeks and if he has so many jobs he can't keep up, then maybe he shouldn't take on so many! I mean... is it to much to ask to get what you pay for? From a very unhappy customer!

My experience was horrendous. I had to sue the contractor over how poorly my house was installed and hh was entirely unhelpful. My build ran over the estimated move in date by almost an entire year. And they were unable to complete my initial move in checklist, after my year warranty was up I just gave up. My foundation was the wrong size and my house was hanging off into free air. My cabinets are falling apart and they were the upgraded option. My house was missing code required light fixtures and I had to argue to have them installed. The customer service manager of hh was so shady when I explained I needed to start recording the calls to be used in my court case he refused to talk to me. They removed a window from my print without a change order and refused to replace it. My tub was installed with a crack, and the replacement that was included in the lawsuit was dragged and had scratches. Had I been the one there I would have refused it but my husband was so sick of the 2 year long battle that he just signed to be done with it. They don't side with customers when their certified dealers go out of business before a contract is completed. I wish I could return my house and start over.

The windows and doors aren't The bath tub and shower have chips on them. The kitchen cabinets are cheap. The cabinets are generic and just cheap!! The wood on the cabinets are starting to fade. The cabinets themselves aren't deep enough. We had to replace our roof already. Their roof has a recall on them. Heckaman didn't support us in way. Didn't want to eat involved. A representative came out looked at the windows. Told me to contact Anderson! If I could do it all over again. Wouldn't ever buy another! They are barely a step up from a trailer. Heckaman Homes just suck!
