I must have spent 30 minutes trying to guess where they kept them. Finally (ahem, I am a male) I asked for directions. The guy I asked, took one look at the hinge I needed (I had a sample) and he sent me here. I walked in, was immediately helped by the counter man. He looked at my sample, said he would check stock and I amused myself walking through a fantasy land of beautifully displayed home goods. My savior came back in a few minutes with a bag of the hinges I needed. The price was about half of a similar hinge at the big depot. Wow! My contractor suggested I go here to pick out my fixtures. Nice selection, however watch out....the sales staff while nice really doesn't guide you with any specifications, so I placed my order received my hardward and found out the faucet I ordered would not work. When I went to return it I found out there is a 25% restocking fee and a chance I would only receive a store credit. I tried to buy local and American but they sure make it hard. If you do end up here, keep all the boxes...if you don't have them, they will not accept the return. Again, wanted to support them but not being forthcoming with the restocking fee is underhanded. Im a little blown away by the poor reviews I'm seeing here. I've renovated a few bathrooms, have worked in similar showrooms, and let me say Moe Distributors is amongst the best. Please keep in mind this is not a Home Depot or Lowe's. The products they carry are of a higher end and are only carried by other licensed dealers. This isn't the kind of place you go to for a last minute knob for a vanity you bought at Home Depot. The Moe distributors team are a start to finish design business. They will walk you through the entire design process of remodeling or putting together a brand new space. Their attention to detail is remarkable and I am always happy with their services. They are way overpriced, and do not stand behind their products. Takes multiple times contacting them to get a response. If a product doesnt work out, they charge an insane "restocking fee" like 30%. Very poor customer service and overall experience. Will never go here again. read more

The good: A great selection of high, to higher, to very high end knobs, pulls, handles, etc, etc. The bad: There are no prices on anything. Very little can be considered stocked items. The reality: For higher end items like this no one can have everything in inventory with this selection. It would cost too much money and most of it would never move or not be in the quantity needed so you would still need to special order items. So...get over it. The pricing is more complicated, as in it depends who is shopping there -- an individual, a designer, a high volume general contractor, etc. At some point places like this will be out of business when manufactures are able to source directly to the end point via some kind of shared retail space and a better way to source and select based on all of the needs for the end use being taken into account. However, until that day comes, which might be really far off, this is the game field you need to play in. For some selects in the construction business it is actually worse. read more

From the very start, he provided professional help with our choices and importantly informed us up front of the challenges we were facing because of supply chain difficulties. When a problem did develop shortly after instillation with some of our items, Phil worked on our behalf with the distributor and manufacturer so that we received prompt and more than fair replacements. Highly recommend the counter guys at Moe Distributors, especially Gary is a genuine pleasure to deal with. These guys helped me with locks a few years ago, rekeying cylinders to match and making extra keys, and their fees were exceptionally reasonable. You might not think of Moe's for locksmithing -- but you should. This store displays a zillion different door locks, door handles and cabinet pulls, not to mention towel bars, custom mailboxes, house signs and other high-end stuff. But their prices are high and stock is very thin, almost everything is a special order with the associated wait and shipping charge. So yeah it's great to wander thru the warren of little rooms here, put your hands on the stuff and really check it out, but there's gotta be a lotta people showrooming them. Not me, not yet, honest. On the other hand, I've had no luck shopping in their new bathroom showroom, just didn't get the help & advice I was hoping to find. Maybe it was obvious I wasn't gonna drop 100 large on a 1,000 sq ft bathroom, probably the little car I drive gave it away lol. After buying so much material, I am extremely disappointed by the attitude of the staff which has changed for the worse over the last few years. They are not customer service oriented and seem to take for granted every sale, noting that they "have enough business". They also don't have enough staff to help you look around the showroom. I used to be able to recommend but it's hard to at this point. read more

I had hopes. After I walked in, no one approached me. A person behind the counter never took her eyes off her computer screen. I wandered into a second area where one person acknowledged my existence but didn't ask if I needed help. HORRIBLE ! I was looking for cabinet hardware and came across Moe's Distributers. I been renovating since the beginning of covid-19. When I heard they were open I called and made an appointment . They are an hours drive my house . Upon arrival I was let in browse and they knew I was there looking. A tall gentlemen approaches me 45 minutes into my browse and tells me I have two mins and need to leave. I explained to him I have an appointment and that I have been waiting to be helped and for him to see I just didn't randomly drive an hour to his place and walk in. His reply was it is Memorial Day weekend and we too want to see our families in a pretty rude tone. I would give this establishment a half star just cause they let me in .(as if you haven't been home for two months during this time) I drove an hour to get to your store and waiting over 45 min for you to tell me had to leave cause the person who made the appointment isn't here and I have now an hour ride home. This tall man was the most unprofessional rude gentlemen to us. I would NEVER NEVER step foot is such MOE'S establishment again.. being part of the essential workforce my time is quite limited and this man treated us horribly ..I will tell all my friends ,families and colleagues to never step foot in MOE'S DISTRIBUTES for any TYPE of hardware OR ANYTHING ELSE!!! truly glad you don't need the business from us essential workers..MOE"S IS TRULY UNPROFESSIONAL. Moe's has a very vast inventory and things to choose from. When someone is engaged with you, they're friendly and professional. However, I agree with some others who have reviewed them here. I was ignored today for a long time without anyone acknowledging that I was alive. I've spent a lot of money there recently and I was surprised at how completely rude it felt to be treated that way. Horrible customer service. We just completely gutted and redid our bathroom; 100 square feet; double vanity, shower with body sprays, soaking tub with floor mount faucet; big job, lots of fixtures and bought them all there. We wanted to avoid the cheap components and lack of customer service from the big box stores. While we feel we got high quality fixtures, obtaining them in a timely fashion was insanely horrific. From the time we ordered until the time we had everything in hand was 7 weeks. 7! All the while never provided with updates, tracking information, never return our phone calls, nothing. Plumber goes to install everything and finds 3 pieces missing. Again, back ordered, no response, not returning phone calls or emails. I finally received all of the parts only after i called the manufacturer myself and obtained my own update that Moes could not be bothered to do. Upon explaining my story to Newport Brass, they had on my doorstep the missing pieces 8 days in advance of the ship date they showed when i called. A ship date that Moes was not able to provide me. From the date i told Moes pieces were missing until the date i had them was 5 more weeks. So all in, a quarter of a year to obtain bathroom fixtures. Which again, is bad enough, but if i wanted to be ignored and have nobody return my call, i would have gone to Home Depot. There is a point where you are paying for service and they are epic fail. Terrible customer service here. We wanted high quality bath hardware for our master bath remodeling project. Every step of the process was a disaster. We bought what we were told was good product, only to find out it was the cheapest junk I've ever encountered. And that was after waiting almost 8 weeks (we were told it would be 3 weeks) for the custom finish from the factory. They don't know the products that they are selling (at least not Jaclo products - what we ordered), and they are not helpful in providing guidance on the important little things - like how long should your shower arm be? Rather than giving guidance on how to check our job to size the right shower arm, the guy just says "6 inches is standard, just order that". Well, 6" was way to short - in hindsight, shame on us for not being diligent in checking it. But...that's why you go to a local store - for advice and guidance on what questions to ask and how to fit your hardware properly. Never, ever, ever again will I do business with this outfit. They simply don't care about customer service - at least not from our perspective as a homeowner. read more
