Today after spending $70 on an order that was stolen and never delivered. Wehn I called to ask about my order, the restaurants representative was rude and unapologetic. I've had orders take 2 hrs for delivery, wrong orders, food missing, super small porition for alot of money. Just not what it was a little while ago. I would suggest picking up for food only. Ordering a jerk tofu got me one of the more impressive renditions of such a dish I've ever seen, with ample sauteed vegetables and a sauce that delivered a robust, sweet and spicy flavor. The tea I got to drink was also sweet; I wish I had known that in advance as I would have just had water. I tried a coco bread (presumably with coconut milk in it), which was handy for sopping up my sauce but not anything that really jumped out at me. There were a few other vegetable dishes and an extensive selection of juices and Caribbean sodas, so plenty of ways to get the island flavor. This particular culinary tradition isn't all that easy to find in the U.S., so I was happy to have found it here.

They specialize in rum based cocktails (and will publicly shame you if you order a vodka drink). Their menu was pretty huge and full of very interesting and fun looking drinks. The Big Willie D in particular was phenomenal and tasted like a coconutty White Russian. They also have a passport where if you try every drink on the menu you get access to their exclusive explorer's club menu. The staff added to the fun atmosphere by periodically making announcements and playing along with the crowd. You can tell that this is a very local, family owned business. A few things to note: -You MUST make a reservation and if you don't show up to that reservation you will have to pay a no-show fee. -You only get one hour in the bar per reservation. They rotate out the entire bar every hour on the hour. It's a fast paced but fun atmosphere. Defined not a sit back and relax type of cocktail lounge.
