The food is disgusting, they have roaches and bugs and they have the employees wipe the bugs off the counter and without gloves and they allow them to touch you're food after and they don't wash their hands. This place needs to get shut down. read more

Service was magnificent, they had good attitudes and very inviting. The atmosphere was nice, a simple interior nothing fancy. I rate the food of great quality. I went with 2 other people. I got a tofu burrito which was good, friend got chicken burrito which was nice and tender, last friend got steak and was honestly very fatty, but taste was there. You get tortilla chips with your meal and there is free sauces next to the fountain drink machine. If I had anything to complain about was just to have less fat on the steak. Even though it's a chain restaurant, this is one of my favorite "Mexican " places. I really like everything on the menu but my go to is the Homewrecker burrito with ground beef. They really are generous with the fillings and the fillings are all good. The people that work there are friendly enough and don't seem to mind if you ask them to add something extra to your order. After you order your food everything else is self serve so there's not a lot of contact with staff after you pay. It's usually pretty well clean and the tables are clean. Had not been to this location in a long time and decided to try it out again since I used to frequent a different location. Things were fine until shortly after ordering and picking up some utensils. The containers holding the utensils was sticky and grimy, and nothing was in packaging so it was all contaminated. To top it off, I noticed a cockroach climbing up the wall behind the beverage station. Needless to say, I decided I would use my own utensils at home and got out of there. Definitely will not be revisiting this location for awhile! read more

I have just ingested my first meal there while my family ate at Super China Buffet (shudders like Lurch). Run down compared to other Moes locations I've been to. The dining area was unclean in a way that you can tell it has not been cleaned properly in a long time. Food stuck to walls, musty smell around beverage area, trash pushed inside seating. I wouldn't waste my money here. They want you to pay top dollar for sub par fast food. My wife asked if the could add just a little more meat on her taco which already cost $4 and they tried to get her to pay $3 more. Are you kidding!! You already pay too much for the food and then they try to give you the smallest amount of food as possible and then they want you to pay for another whole taco for maybe a fourth of an ounce of meat. It's such a millennial thing to say that a chain burrito bar is my comfort food, BUT ITS TOTALLY TRUE. My regular is a chicken Joey (which is just a chicken burrito without guacamole) and lots of chips and salsa (el Guapo is my fave). I can't remember ever being seriously disappointed at this location. The only thing is that the employ a lot of teens and young adults who can be cold and mumble-y on occasion; minimum wage workers are minimum for a reason so I don't mind. I responded that he was in training and they me informed he wasn't allowed in the establishment. I was made to leave. Huge infraction of my rights and privacy. Great Mexican food at a good price. The Joey bag of donuts has been a go to for year. The cops are great especially with some Queso.

We tried to eat inside the restaurant and it was a huge mistake. Everything was dirty. Multiple members of kitchen staff were touching their masks/faces and the man working the grill had his nose out of his mask the entire time but frequently removed his mouth as well, any time he spoke with someone - other employees and customers. There was an issue with the register while we were waiting and when the manager came to fix it, he took his mask off to talk on the phone. And not just for a couple seconds, he stood at the register OVER OUR FOOD and spoke on the phone for over ten minutes with NO MASK. We left the food and the restaurant feeling sick to our stomachs and angry. I told them we were leaving because they weren't following COVID protocols and they were putting people at risk but the grill worker who kept taking his mask off and rolled his eyes at me. read more

This was my first experience at Moe's. I've had their food catered and it was good but this was my first time to visit. Overall the place was good but I prefer a sit down Mexican restaurant with a better atmosphere. The employees assume everyone knows what to do when they come in and that is a false assumption. What are the choices for each item? I had nachos with very little beef and a few other items but no one explained what my choices were. I avoided the lettuce because it was obviously old. We stop here each and every time when we come through Ashland. We frequent Moe's everywhere and are loyal Moe's eaters. Ashland location is super friendly and fast. Lots of locals eat here and it's popular. We were the first through the line when it opened at 11:30 am. Lettuce was old and guacamole was brown and obviously was from the day before. Please start fresh and discard that funky stuff from the day prior. Biggest issue with this store is it stinks. Every time we're there. Like mildew. I suspect it's their wipe rags that are sitting in dirty, mildewed solution. I've experienced this at other establishments. read more

On Wed June 27th I came for lunch, the girl taking my order asked what I wanted. I told her a burrito bowl and she rambled off the choices which I couldn't understand, had to ask her again, which was obvious I aggravated her, she repeated just as fast, not making eye contact. I decided on steak, she slammed brown rice in my bowl, I said, I wanted the white, she took that bowl and very aggressively slung it into the trash, began dipping the rice then the steak and slammed it into the bowl to try to intimidate me, I told her she needed to adjust her attitude, the next guy on the line was very sheepish and apparently scared of the fit this girl was throwing. I was so upset I couldn't even think what I wanted next. I apologized to him, the lady that rung me up was very consoling and I asked to speak to the mngr, who she said wasn't there and she would pass my complaint on to him. I told her there was no reason for her actions and that $11 was too much to pay and then be treated that way, which upset my whole lunch. I messaged Moe's privately on FB but no response. Consistent good quality food. Whenever I am in Ashland and I want a good quality burrito I go to Moe's, especially on Monday's when they have their Monday specials. The ingredients are always fresh and there is a variety of ingredients. And being close to the Ashland Towne Center Mall and the Cinemark movie theatre certainly helps. read more
