#47/2023 Well times does change Specially in this post covid world and lots of other things Almost 4 years ago I reviewed this. Moe's corporate office has made some decisions that many people aren't too happy about myself included. The main thing is what they eliminated. I came in and got a bowl with cilantro rice on the bottom black beans and adobo chicken. I had lettuce put on top and cheese. I wonder what I had for the longest time because I'm not a fan of onions I wanted some sliced tomatoes like they always had and some cucumbers. Well come to find out not only did I get a little snippy attitude from the young girl working, also come to find out most does not have sliced tomatoes anymore. have a diced tomato mix. Which has onions tomatoes and some other stuff in it I was absolutely not interested in. No longer have cucumbers And what made a lot of people mad to go with their steaks they have no longer have there but used to be great grilled mushrooms to go with the steak burritos plates and more. This particular visit they were out of my favorite sauce the very mild El guapo But this used be one of my favorite Moe's it is still 24 hours in the pilot it does not close I like all the other ones pilots included. All in all I have to drop a star the food was okay the chicken could have been a little better and experienced though just was not very good. Hopefully Moes will come back to how it was. It's now just simply okay. But I won't be frequenting as much the chicken with the black beans was good with the cilantro rice and lettuce but it really needs regular tomatoes to me. The food was awful. Chips stale, rice hard, and they were out of everything. Service wise they were very polite and were trying. You can tell that they were short hand and the girl working was new. But she did great! The place is disgusting. There is dusting and gunk hanging over the food. All the benches and tables were dingy/ falling in. To top it all off. A teenage boy and two girls were there hanging out. The boy kept saying his "auntie" works there. Well at one point he is sitting in the trashcan, had his hands in his pants the entire time. Make a comment about waiting for an interview... I'm sorry but no one want to be looking at a guy with his hands in his pants. Avoid it and wait he more exit as there is a chipotle with descent food! Worst food experience in a long time. Filthy and times expired. Worst part is this was at 4pm and the attitude was terrible. I asked for house salsa and was told rudely they were out. Portions terrible and there wasn't anyone in the store when we stopped. read more

I stopped for a second time and just got a burrito bowl. The home wrecker So good and took very little time to order and get back on the road. I would just ask for more protein. But very good for the lunch time hunger. read more

Delicious food. I ordered a beef salad. I also got (free) chips to go with it, so I also got a side of cheese sauce. Bri gave outstanding service. She was very friendly and professional. Moes has a welcoming feeling about the place. read more

Very rude person at the cash register. When I told her I was going to speak to the manager about her attitude and asked for her name she gave me a fake name that didn't match the name listed as "Host" on my receipt. My online feedback went unanswered. There's a Chik-fil-A next door. read more

i have given this place chance after chance moe's in chillicothe used to he as good or even better than chipotle at any time of day but now every time i go in there they are always out of something or so pissed off you came in for food it ruins your appetite they i got a burrito today and it was so loosely wrapped it was uneatable i had to go back into the store and ask for a bowl to eat it the tortilla was still cold because they didn't leave it on the warmer long enough and they are so lazy about dishes they had everything stacked on the grill so you can even see the food the steak tastes old and feels like rubber which i don't expect it to be 10/10 but dang i told the man to go lite on the door cream and queso but then he proceeded to drown it then sat there with his dirty gloves and wrapped my burrito 3 times covering the outside in sauce read more

My wife and I were in Chillicothe,Ohio and were going to stop at Moe's. usually there isn't any problems when we go there. today is a different story. the staff is very rude and very unprofessional. They started taking our order and we asked for something the woman went and got the manager who came out with a few other employees which all were rude to us. They charge you double for what you order and you don't get the same quantity that you get from other Moe's. I highly suggest not spending your money there. read more

We visited this Moe's while traveling across the country. We were looking for a quick and clean place to stop and rest. During our visit, the restaurant was absolutely filthy. There were dirty tables everywhere and food on the floor. The trash cans were overflowing. We got up to order, and I went to order my nachos. She got my chips, and then I asked her if she could put my toppings in another bowl... I hate soggy chips. She very dramatically flipped the bowl of chips straight into the trash. What a waste! And why the drama? She said "Next time, ask for chips on the side first." Why waste perfectly good food just because I asked for something on the side? We figured the restaurant would be cleaned once their "rush" died down. Nope. When things slowed, they just talked behind the counter. It was a terrible experience. We love Moe's and have always had exceptional experiences. I hope things get turned around. read more

Fair amount of food, while fairly priced. I got the Earmuff Salad. The rice was undercooked and still hard. Where this Moe's Southwest Grill gets a poor rating is the staff! They are all very short and abrupt with their questions of what you'd like to eat and what you'd like in it. They don't greet you, they have a piss poor attitude (like they don't even want to be there). Very unfriendly! read more

This Moe's is located inside a Pilot gas station, the place was clean, both ladies were nice and friendly, the food was good as usual, BUT their soda machine was out out everything (no ice, no coke, no dr pepper, no sprite), they have these touchscreen soda machines and almost all the brands were in gray color (Unavailable), that was a little annoying but we ended up filling our cup next door at the gas station with their permission... read more

Although I usually love coming to Moe's, this one is not so great. Normally you're greeted "welcome to Moe's" when you walk in not so much here. Not a big deal but I think that's one of the things that sets Moe's apart from its competitors. The food portions were way off. I got a home wrecker with a little meat/rice/beans and a LOT of guac/sour cream/cilantro. Also, this is the first Moe's I have been in where they don't have salsas on the line to wrap up in the burrito. 2 out of 5 stars. read more

Ordinarily, I love Moe's, they're so much better than Chipotle to me and you get free chips and salsa bar with every meal. However, today was probably one of the biggest let downs I've had to deal with. I went in around 5 with my husband to get a platter of chicken nachos to share. Unfortunately, we got stuck with the employee in training, so we got jipped big time on ingredients. The first sign of her being new was that she didn't know the first thing you put in a nacho platter is, yep, you guessed it, CHIPS. She had to ask her trainer and our queso was abundant, but only because the trainer put it on. Besides that, she gave us one tiny scoop of everything, and a pinch of fresh jalapeños (had to ask for extra). The food was still good and fresh, but extremely disappointed with the amount of food we got. Better luck next time hopefully. read more

This was my first time eating here. I ordered the "Close Talker" salad. The preparer dumped half of the meat onto the station then picked it up and dropped it back into the salad which I thought was gross. I changed my order to chicken so they started over with a new salad. Initially they didn't offer any salad dressing so I asked the cashier where it was. Since the dressings were in the prep station she unbagged the salad and added the dressing. The food was good, the service was just ok. read more

This was definitely not a "Welcome to Moe's" experience... No one in the restaurant greeted us, nor seemed happy to be there. In fact, just the opposite... the mood seemed to match them being attached to the Pilot gas station by the interstate... they seemed in a rush to be somewhere else. Once we paid, I headed for the salsa bar. All but one container almost empty. I asked a young, red haired woman for a refill of the salsa, and she said "okay." We sat down. After watching for 15 minutes (and eating half our food), I got back up and asked again for the salsa bar to be refilled. Five minutes later, nothing. The woman I asked the second time, the cashier, continued to cash out paying customers with HOT food, while ours and the other customers got cold with NO SALSA. The last straw was the original young woman I asked walked out, with cigarettes in hand, to take her break. When I stopped her, she shrugged and said, "I asked someone else to do it." After 25 minutes, with me standing beside the cashier, someone finally brought out two of the bowls new. When I sat down with my salsa, my family was finished with their food and ready to resume our road trip. I would say AVOID this Moe's at all costs. I go here almost daily for lunch. Love the service and now that I am a regular they are even starting to converse with me when I come in. But the real reason I go in isn't small talk it's the food. I absolutely love the food here. The burritos on Monday is a great deal. 6.50 you get a burrito the size of your head and a drink plus you get chips and salsa with every order. When it's not Monday I generally get a couple tacos which is just as good! This place is my new favorite restaurant in town! read more
