The restaurant itself is very clean. Staff was very friendly. Food was pretty good. I did think that the green salsa was a little watery. Quesadilla had great flavor with the meat that we chose. Sucked into the free burrito if you did numerous steps...liked their page, commented on what you wanted in a burrito then had to go to messenger for code...more instructions then download the app. Sign up, give them all your personal info, figure out how to order...finally got to checkout and their was NO PLACE to put the code. There was one spot I tried that didn't accept that code. So, called Gadsden Moe's...got a prep cook who knew Nothing about the process or app. I said, so no one trained you on this prior to the day? She said no and there is a line out the door. I thanked her for being of no help. We will not be back. What a wast of 40 mins of two peoples time. Came in today at 1:45 and got a Homewrecker. I've had about 1,000 of these things over my lifetime and don't really feel the need to talk them up because they're always awesome, but I definitely wanna give a shoutout to the lone dude that was working behind the counter today. The card reader didn't give me the option to leave a tip and I wasn't carrying cash, so I hope y'all do something for your staff when people leave solid reviews for your employees. I would rather eat Moe's any day than any Mexican restaurant. I just like the TexMex better than the authentic Mexican experience. Today, I wanted to try out the new Smothered Burritos they have. I went with the Hatch Green Chile and Queso with pork. Moe's is pretty consistent but I don't understand why they changed their pork to a more crunchy style than the nice, marinated, easy to chew tender, marinated style. It was very disappointing. Other than that, it was the same Ole Moe's goodness. Everything else was fresh. Sweet tea was excellent and the customer service was signature Moe's. Overall, I wasnt impressed with Hatch Green Chile with Queso. A lot of the blame goes on me though with my choice of ingredients. Some ingredients I just had way too much of. Next time, I will try the red Chile one with steak or beef. I'm basing my rating on my overall experiences at Moe's over the years and not just this one. read more

This Moe's location was full of absolute TOMFOOLERY. First of all my burrito maker barley put any chicken, rice & beans. My meal should have been half of because of half of the ingredients that my sever used. Then i walk to the drink machine and ALL of the good drinks were out, i had to settle for cream soda that had no syrup in it what so ever. Then i sit down finish my half made burrito and go to eat my stale chips except for this one that was not even cooked, i bent it in half & it just folded like paper, didn't even break. So all in all Moe's was having one of their worst days because it was awful. I would rather kiss a catfish from the deepest darkest depths of the ocean than eat a half made burrito, eat a half cooked chip & drink a disgusting drink, and in the morning after i took the meanest greenest poop ever. read more

They didn't do the thing. There's a thing when you walk into a Moe's where all the employees go "welcome to Moe's" in a chorus of at the very least feigned enthusiasm. When we entered today nobody even looked up. I was disappointed. That greeting is part of the Moe's experience, and without it my lunch was incomplete. Even the customary announcement of receiving a tip and the response from the crew were weak. I did not get the sense that the staff was excited or interested in pretending to be so. There's no beer here. This I expected due to the location, but am still not thrilled about. On the bright side, the food is good. Always fresh ingredients and it's really hard to mess up my order when I'm standing there pointing to things as we go. Dining area is clean and comfortable, that's a plus. So is the restroom. I'm really glad to see Gadsden getting more casual dining options. This is definitely a step in the right direction. Thumbs are looking up : ) read more

The Gadsden location is the best. Great food, very nice staff. Visited the store right before closing on Thursday, April 25th. You would think that staff would be agitated at a customer coming in at the last minute but they were quite the opposite. Lovely personalities. Heard everyone speaking bad on Moe's so me and my friend decided to go and make our on decision on it. I'm vegetarian so I got a veggie burrito and she got chicken quesadilla. Not impressed...you do not get a lot of meat with your order and the tortilla shell is quite empty and for the price you are paying its just not worth it...too expensive for the little food you're actually getting. It's better to go to the local Bubba Ritos. read more

It has been some time since we ate at Moe's so we thought we would give it a try. Our last meal there, some months ago, was not impressive but we were in the mood for some Tex-mex so we stopped in. We both ordered the Ear Muff bowls and were surprised. They were VERY good with lots of flavor. We also noted that they have changed to a larger bowl which is really nice. Very fast and great customer service. My first time to eat at a "Moe's" and I love the fact I can add all the ingredients I love to eat to my Mexican Meal. We all went here for the first time today and the food was good. 3 out of 4 of us had to wait for chicken to be cooked as they ran out. Which was fine for everyone except I got nachos and they put the cheese on ahead of time and by the time I got my food it was all cold except, the chicken. However, the people working there had a great attitude and we're helpful. We got a card for a free burrito for having to wait. To me that makes up for the cold nachos. Constantly subpar. Constantly promises from management to resolve issues, months later same issues plus new ones. Management never seems to take pride or look at the fine details. Apparently they just don't care. I've caught the GM Vera in a few lies. Staff is always changing, more of a revolving door then most restaurants. Today the food was so-so, the steak on my burrito was sorta dry and the staff couldnt have cared any less. The restaurant is already starting too look deteriated and nasty. How can you take such little pride in your restaurant when its basically still new.. Under a year old. The bathrooms have graffiti that has been poorly covered up for a few months. Do you not have a budget for improvements? Do you not care that it looks like crap? The men's restroom has been out of soap for close to two months. Seriously. Apparently no staff wash their hands because the dispenser has a very small amount in the bottom but it doesn't actually pick it up. It's been the same soap cartridge for a while. Apparently they just eye it and say "oh it must be good" which is nasty. They finally got blinds, almost 8 months after supposedly ordering... So maybe they will get some more soap or clean up by this time next year... Maybe... read more

The burrito I tried was really good. The staff is friendly, and the food is as advertised.

Quickly has gone from energetic and fun to a place where everyone looks miserable. Last three times I have had Moes in Gadsden something has been sub-par. Vandals have marked up the bathroom and there has been no soap in the dispenser for weeks. Quickly becoming "past prime" and not even been open a year. The place is hard to eat at in the afternoon because of no blinds. Management has been promising they were installing blinds since the week of opening... That was 7 months ago. Won't be surprised if they close up shop in next year. read more
