Not a lot to look at. It was on the dollar menu. Beefy mini quesadilla. Not very beefy or cheesey.

Don't expect too much. This used to have really good Taco Bell food if there even is such a thing any more. I didn't have too much optimism when I pulled in here and they didn't let me down! To start I waited almost 15 minutes in the drive through. I had 3 beef soft tacos and 2 beefy mini quesadillas. As much as can be expected from Taco Bell these days. Thrown together and messy. The tea was way too sweet and the tacos dripped all in the bag. Try KFC, it might be better, but I doubt it. The girl at the window was very friendly. Maybe she eats somewhere else.

    Crunchy Taco

Went there tonight and got the taco and burritos craving pack and when I open up the tacos there's barely any meat in it . All 4 tacos has little to no meat in them . What a waste of time and money. Lazy ass workers who don't wanna cook more meat or shit. If I wanted to eat a vegetarian taco I would've asked for that . This isn't the first time it's happened !!!

    literally no filling wtf

Events concluded somewhat early on Saturday and I wanted to make the most of my drive out that way, so I decided to drive a little farther to give Gordo's Way a try. TL;DR -- I'm gonna be making more special trips to Albertville. This restaurant is located on Main Street in Albertville. It's on the corner/end of the street. Street parking is limited but there's a large lot across the street that I took advantage of. They appear to only be open Friday - Sunday so plan accordingly! A few picnic tables are arranged in front of the entrance. The restaurant is small with room for maybe ~25 seats on the inside. You order at the counter. The menu is diverse with a lot of authentic Mexican and Central American dishes. Big focus on birria -- not just tacos, but pizza and ramen too. Service was exceptional! The young woman who greeted me at the counter was so friendly and nice. She immediately caught on it was my first visit and she graciously offered to explain the menu to me. She was exceedingly thorough - more than I truly needed but I didn't mind because she was so sweet - and she knew her stuff! If you're new to this cuisine at all, Gordo's Way would be a great place to explore because the staff will take care of you. They have several containers of aguas frescas, to include cucumber pineapple, horchata, orange pineapple, etc. I knew I wanted one but couldn't pick -- they kindly offered me a sample. The cucumber pineapple was perfect -- delightfully refreshing, not too sweet but not too cucumbery either, and so that was my choice. I ordered two birria tacos with a side of rice and beans to accompany my beverage. This was actually my first time trying birria. I've waited to try it because I wanted to try it somewhere I was confident would do it well -- reviews led me here. I wasn't disappointed. It was delicious: the beef was chewy, savory, succulent, so moist; the onions were crunchy but unobtrusive; the tortilla was thin and crispy; and the consommé for dipping was perfectly umami and surprisingly not insanely messy. The only thing that didn't completely knock my socks off was the rice. It wasn't bad, just kind of standard. The beans were, I think, charro beans -- definitely pintos, not refried. They were smoky and tender. Go out of your way to Gordo's Way -- you will not regret it.

Where do I begin?…read more First of all, the restaurant is very colorfully decorated, which instantly brightens the mood. We were able to seat ourselves, and immediately afterwards the waitress brought complimentary salsa and chips as she took our drink and food order. The salsa and chips were very good. The chips were crisp and freshly made and the salsa had just the right amount of kick to it. It was sweet and unique and I could see myself ordering it as a to-go order. For our entrees, I ordered 3 street tacos and cheese dip. My guy ordered the steak fajita plate. After a short wait, our food arrived, hot and fresh off the grill. I wasn't a fan of the pollo taco. It was bland and lacked any type of flavor. However, the campechano and chorizo versions were much better. The cheese dip stayed watered down even after it cooled but had a good flavor to it. I looked up to see my guy reaching for the salt shaker several times. I tasted a small serving of his steak. Yall..,.I kid you not. That steak had no type of seasoning-no salt, no pepper, no nothing had been sprinkled on it. To sum it up...it was overcooked and under seasoned. He kept trying to doctor the dish up by adding salt and pepper but after a while stopped because that should've been done in the cooking of the dish. He only ate a 1/3 of his dish. Upon paying the check, he attempted to share his disappointment with the waitress, who now all of a sudden, doesn't understand English. Keep in mind, we had been communicating with her just fine throughout our time there. Needless to say, we will not be returning to the restaurant location anytime soon. I've visited the truck before and will return there.

Ask for creamy salad dressing on the side if you wish, and take the garnished grilled onions and included BIG hot pepper. ORIGINAL REVIEW I stopped by and had a Cuban Papa Rellena (look it up), it was delicious but a little on the high side in pricing. Chef was a Cuban Lady and she made me feel right at home. Need to go back and eat some real food and not just an appetizer. Has the potential to be very good if it doesn't break your wallet!
