Horrible experience I went there expecting my normal moe's experience and instead was handing a burrito the size of my toe, when I say I watched the worker scoop about 1/4 of the scoop of meat and claim it was a scoop and then when I asked for a little more sassed me and tried to get me to pay for another scoop, overall horrible experience if you want to eat a burrito with only plain rice this is the place for you i hope moe's corporate shits this place down or Atleast makes this right for how poor this franchise reflect on them read more

The one on East Chase has a rude worker. I don't know her name but all I did was ask for my receipt because I told the lady no and I forgot that I had a gift card so I wanted to know my balance so she asked the rude lady how to print out the receipt and it's like she just told me don't worry about it and this has not been the first time. She has been rude It's like she'd be rude all the time when the workers need help with things and I want to use my rewards. First off I'll start by saying I am an avid Moe's connoisseur. Love the place! I try to go out of my way and eat there whenever I see one. However this might not be the case any longer. When I walked in to this particular moe's, the first thing I noticed was how dirty it was. I'm talking food all over the ground, flies everywhere, and employees that legitimately smelled bad. The line was long and slower than molasses, which I was expected based on the way the employees looked like they hated their life. When I got to the front of the line the man taking my order yelled at me, asking what I wanted. I got a ground beef burrito with rice and no beans. Pretty easy order right? Wrong. At first the man brought out a bowl and put rice in it immediately. Are you joking that's not what I wanted. So I told him and he was visibly angry throwing the bowl on the ground. He then started making my burrito and at first I thought he was joking. He scooped 5, 3 millimeter pieces of ground beef into my bowl and slid it to the next station. I laughed and asked the next employee if I could get a little more meat. She looked at the man beside her, visibly trembling with fear, and told me it would be an upcharge. So I settled and payed. Took me about 2 minutes to get down and didn't even scratch the itch of hunger I had when I came in. To end off this horrible experience, I decided to go to the bathroom, and boy was that a bad Idea. It smelled like a wizzy rump and I was quick to get out. Overall this moes has no potential to do better and should think about shutting down. read more

Beware the location Eastchase Pkwy in Alabama. He will overcharge you and then brush you off when questioned. I got a vegetarian bowl no cheese meat or even tofu and was charged for a beef homewrecker. I ordered this meal often at other locations and I know for a fact it's cheaper than what I was charged. I usually really love Moes but the service and food portions were absolutely horrid. I watched the young lady sprinkle lettuce onto the smallest burrito I have ever seen and when it fell on the counter she put it into the burrito. The portions were one scoop of each item. Why? If price of food is the problem go up don't skimp on people's portions in front of their face how stupid!! Friendly but Food is not Fresh Let me start with the pluses, the workers were friendly and polite. There was tofu for vegans! There were free chips and unlimited salsa. I arrived a little before 8pm. I couldn't finish my burrito because the pico de gallo in it tasted old. Also 2 of the salsas were spoiled. I lost my appetite. I let one of the workers know that the green tomatillo salsa was bad (fermented taste, bubbles in mouth). I know this salsa is typically sour. I actually make it from scratch at home. The worker said thank you and didn't even go check. I told him I didn't want anyone getting sick, still don't check. While they are friendly and polite, I don't think they care about whether the food is spoiled. I order online and in store at this location at least once a week going on 2 years now. My online order has never been late, and the staff in the store is very pleasant. Don't come in here often. Got my daughter a kids burrito with guacamole and sour cream on the side. I was pleasantly surprised by their drink options of Strawberry Hibiscus juice and a Mango Limeade. Both taste really good when I tried them, but I went with the Strawberry Hibiscus. It was really good and I may come back just to get that. It really hit the spot on a hot summer day. read more

During a trip to Alabama I wanted to try something different; looking online I found this little Tex-Mex joint called Moe's. Little did I know until after I finished eating that they're located all over the US, including right down the road from my house in NC. Anyways, the burrito was really good - the seasoned chicken had a great flavor. I like that you can add cilantro & guac at no extra charge. You also get complimentary chips with a variety of salsa options. Friendly staff at this location & well priced. I'll definitely add this to my options when I get back home. read more

I typically visit Montgomery every year, during the Thanksgiving holidays. This year was no exception. The fam and I needed to grab a quick bite to eat while out doing some shopping. Now, I don't LOVE Moe's but I've always enjoyed it just fine. It is what it is. This particular day the food was not good, and this dining room was pretty nasty - unkept, just not too clean. If you like Chipotle, you'll like this place. They are very similar. I love how they have a regular and junior size burrito. The junior size is perfect for people like me with small stomachs. This is THE WORST Moe's that my wife and I have ever stepped foot in. We walked in and the first thing that stood out while waiting in line and watching them prepare the guests in front of us food was cross contamination. We watched the utensils being used for meat also being used for Tofu and Cheese.... for you meat eaters that may not seem like a big deal but having a child who is allergic to chicken it IS a big deal. I love Moes burritos. I have never been disappointed when I leave. I have been to this establishment many times, this place always has a good food score (upper 90's) however I have seen the restaurant a little messy needing attention. Only needed a cup of queso and chips and the service was excellent. It was early in the evening so there was no one in line and only two parties in the dining area. The chips were underdone for some reason. But I love that I can help myself to a variety of salsas in little to go cups. I will be back for a full meal another day! read more

I love this location for Moe's Monday! The staff is friendly and helpful if you're not sure what to order. And free chips and salsa with your meal is always a plus! I usually pay a $1 extra to get a small 2 oz queso as well. I usually carry out but there is a fair amount of seating for dine in guests too. read more

In terms of cleanliness, this was the nastiest restaurant I've been to in a while. The floors looked like there had been a food fight and the trash cans were overflowing with garbage. We did not even get to eat here as they shewed us off. Yes it was five minutes before their posted open time, but the door was open and we got told to leave and wait. Not only were we told to leave, two other customers were treated the same and pushed back out the door to patiently wait like dogs for their master's to serve them. It's sad the employees of this company lost the real reason as to why they are working, customer service. If your door is open, then you don't run off customers. I bet if that employee counted on customers to ensure he had food on his table, he would have served us even if it was five minutes before they opened. This Moe's let me down and really turned me off to the brand. However, the sandwich shop which was next door opened at the same time as Moe's, but valued our dollar and let's in and feed us instead of telling us to wait on the porch until they opened. The only reason I give them 3-stars was for a good vegetarian selection which is so rare here in Montgomery. The food was just okay, but the service was rude as all hell. I asked if they could substitute one sauce for another and the server sighed and flat out told me "No, we don't do that here". He could've been a lot nicer about it. I came here with my son for a quick lunch after road tripping for 4 hours. We both got the Band Camp (vegetarian bowl). My son loved his and devoured it quickly. It was the perfect amount of everything and the guacamole was quite good, especially with extra cilantro. They also didn't mind that he asked for extra guacamole, more importantly, they didn't charge extra. Mine was also pretty good, the amounts were spot on. My only complaint is that they were stingy on the chips, which is probably a good thing for me, but my son can eat his weight in them. They weren't evenly salted with some being really salty and others completely devoid of any. I think we might have gotten the dregs from the previous day- we arrived when they first opened at 11am. As usual, the salsa was fresh and a good accompaniment. The people that served us were extremely friendly, we thought he was most likely the manager. We got all of this for around $13, with a military discount( not all Moe's offer that so I thought I should mention it). I would say it is closer to 3.5 but the bowl portion is huge which is good for a growing kid. read more

Moe's is a great chain. Very good selection for the vegan, vegetarian and meat eaters in our family and this one is a great quick stop on the way to the beach. First time I've tried their salad and it was great. Bowl was very tasty. Portions are big enough to fill up DH & the teen boys, DD & I took leftovers to the hotel for later. Will probably return here on future trips. Employees were nice & restaurant was clean. read more
